Before I begin; I'm generally quite understanding of situations, but tonight, I feel the need to speak up. I'm no 'Karen', as it were. I get it, times are hard.
But tonight, I made the mistake of trying to save a few minutes on the drive home by getting Taco Bell in Lavalette rather than Kenova. This will be the final time I allow myself to lower my standards for sustenance.
I put in an online order. I waited gleefully and patiently in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes (which was already 20 minutes SINCE I ordered originally) while at least three people prepared it. I was perfectly happy to wait- I didn't have anywhere to be and I was jamming in my car. I figured at the very least, they were preparing everything fresh or that it would at least be warm to the touch.
When I finally got my food, I decided to pop a Nacho Fry in my mouth- and to my extreme disappointment, it was stone cold and had the consistency of a two day-old cow patty. As cars began to pull in behind me, I heard a particularly 'gleeful' employee exclaim that they'd been non-stop working since 3pm and that he was 'done with it'.
I had hoped that at least some of the items in my almost 60$ family order might be even passable as food product. However, to my dismay, every single item that I ordered was either burnt, skimpy, or appeared to be several days old. The cantina bowl and burritos had not a whisper of meat on them. Essentially a raw tortilla with some sour cream on it. The chalupa was completely raw, without the shell being fried. Every single item was cold as if it had been pulled out of the deep freezer. Not sure if the manager is trying to get some free food at the end of the night or something, but take my advice.
Do NOT go to Lavalette Taco Bell. Take the extra 10, 20, 30 minutes to go to Kenova or literally ANYWHERE else. You will get twice the food as well. With the eons that I waited outside the window, the extra drive would have been worth the time and enjoyment that these people...
Read moreAlways good, consistent food, fast service, orders correct about 95% of the time, which is better than a lot of other Taco Bell's I've been to. The staff is nice, and friendly, but they're so quick with your order, (which is not a bad thing at all, dont get me wrong), that it sometines feels a little impersonal....but then again, i suppose that's the name of the game considering they're technically considered a fast food restaurant. So good job Lavalette, WV Taco Bell....keep up the good work. My husband and I will definitely be eating there many times in the future......and not to mention when we eat there it's usually really late at night, like after 10 pm at least....so to still receive good food that late and that close to closing time (during the week), that's a MAJOR PLUS for them!!!...
Read moreJust when I thought Kenova location was bad this is even worse. Only Taco Bell worth going to is out of this tri state area!! I put in a mobile order and sent my husband to get it. They made it in front of him, and my food was still ice cold!!! Tasted like the potatoes came right from the fridge!!! The chalupa tasted like it was very old. Didn’t give the Baja Freeze, didn’t give the Avocado verde salsa.i order 5 boxes, only two orders was in a box and every single thing else thrown in a bag. The chips all crushed, like literal crumbles!!! If these employees don’t take it seriously when feeding the community they need to find...
