I called in an order of kids spaghetti with meat sauce with cheese and a chili cheese dog for pickup. I had an old menu that I used. The menu had a hot dog, chili dog and then the chili cheese dog was listed last. When I picked up the order and looked at it, I had a corn dog about 8 inches long on top of the to go box. I told the lady that was not what I ordered. I told her I ordered a chili cheese dog. She told me they did not have chili cheese dogs, that was their chili cheese dog. Inside the to go box was a container (1 cup or more) of chili and the same size of cheese. When I ordered I asked that they put onions and mustard on the chili cheese dog. There was onions and mustard in small containers in the box. Also, when I ordered I asked for extra sauce for the spaghetti. I was told that would be an extra $2.00 charge, so I told them to forget it. There was no flatware or napkins packed with order. There is a big difference in a chili cheese dog and a corn dog. Also, how could I eat the chili from the container with no spoon. I should had been told when I called the order in that they did not have chili cheese dogs. The corn dog was horrible. I ate about a i/4 of it and threw the rest away. My son said the spaghetti was nothing to brag about. I will not be ordering anything else from Pizza...
Read moreWe've been regular patrons of this restaurant for about three years, consistently ordering the same "Zombie Pizza" with a thin, extra-crispy crust and no anchovies.
While we genuinely enjoy the pizza, we've experienced some inconsistencies with both service and quality. During our most recent visit, we waited over 45 minutes for our pizza, and unfortunately, it wasn't made to our specifications. When we inquired about the delay and the issues with our order, a waitress, who identified herself as acting in a managerial capacity, informed us that they don’t actually make thin crust pizzas, but rather adjust the dough as best as they can (first time we have been told this) . She apologized for the delay, explaining that an unexpected track meet had caused delays, but didn’t provide prior communication about this issue. Additionally, she mentioned that they aren't allowed to discuss wait times with the cook as it might cause frustration.
Despite the issues, the restaurant did not charge us for the pizza, which we appreciated. We will continue to return, but it's worth noting that wait times can vary significantly, and it's difficult to get a clear estimate or...
Read moreWe are ecstatic to have found this place. For years we have gone to the bakery off the highway and we will probably never go back to that one after finding The Pizza House. This restaurant and bakery has a small and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant offers many food options including pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, shrimp, Reuben, sausage and sauerkraut and more. Today we tried the “Poopy’s Special” -a chicken fried chicken sandwich with cheese, sautéed veggies, and hot sauce and chicken fried chicken which came with a salad and choice of fries, tater tots, or onion rings. Both of our plates left us full and delighted. The service today lacked organization, but it seemed there was one waitress for the entire restaurant and there was a large group of 10+ and other patrons also. On the other hand the bakery has a wide variety of baked goods to choose from. Everything looks so good. We ended up buying a few boxes of the the day old baked goods and a man Italian cream cheese cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls are MASSIVE and d come in many flavors. Fair pricing on everything in the bakery and restaurant....
