I came here for dinner while staying in the hotel with my fiance for our second annual visit. We made a reservation for Datillo and showed up for our 5:30pm seating. We were seated in in the seaside bar and grill section and not the Datullo section, which we understood given Covid probably made it hard to have servers in both areas. We wished we had the view bit again understood given the circumstances. Our waitress Linda was great and checked on us frequently and was friendly. We ordered steamed mussels for an appetizer and then the veal and steak. The mussels were good and you got a decent amount for the price. The main entrees were a bit smaller so glad we got the appetizer before hand. The steak was a bit overcooked, well done rather than medium, but still tasty. For the price I'd expect it to be correct, but the seasoning and flavor was very good. Overall a nice visit, I'd recommend.

We stopped in on a Sunday morning for Brunch and I am so glad we did. The options were plentiful and everything was so good. The carving stations were really good. They had plenty of breakfast options and definitely lots of protein to add on your plate. The veggies and pasta options were also very good. The restaurant itself was very elegant with beautiful large windows which provide a great water view. The premises were beautifully landscaped and had plenty of areas of beautiful flowers and plantings. Unfortunately for us, it was a grey and rainy day but it still was beautiful. Jay, took care of all our needs and we were super pleased with great service and he was very helpful. We will definitely come back again!! We made reservations but they had plenty of room if you just walk in.

There's a reason for low average review on Google maps for this place. Find someplace else to eat. The atmosphere is great but that's where good stuff ends. This place isn't worth the money you spend here. Food Charcuterie board had too much cheese and wasn't well balanced. Ravioli was too sour had to leave all of it on the plate. When we told server about it, he says, desserts will be nice and sweet. (Sad) The salad was good. Dessert was good. Irish cream coffee was bad. When you pay $150 for dinner for two, this is not acceptable food quality. The location is great but the food doesn't stand up to the mark.

Honestly the worst meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Our server was friendly and personable but I can’t say that the service was good in any way. My wife and I were married at Water’s Edge last year and it was a great experience. Part of the package was a voucher for a free meal at this restaurant (including a salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert for each person). The only thing not covered was alcohol. From the get-go, the drinks were mediocre but it wasn’t a big deal. For an appetizer, we only ordered the crab cakes and the burrata salad. The crab cakes were good (nothing spectacular), but the burrata salad featured some tomatoes which were probably 3-4 days away from being properly ripe. Decent flavor but unacceptable for a tomato/burrata salad. For an entree, we ordered two vegetarian pasta dishes. Our server brought them and then disappeared. We soon realized that one of these was a seafood dish featuring lobster ravioli, scallops, and shrimp. Since our server disappeared, I ended up picking at the dish while we waited. I don’t eat much seafood but I was able to recognize the low quality of the scallops and shrimp. The ravioli was acceptable. At this point, we just wanted to leave so we declined the FREE dessert when a different server cleared our plates and brought the menu. A third server dropped off the check and of course we were billed for the entire meal despite the fact that we presented the voucher before we even ordered. It was eventually settled after waiting yet again. The fact that we turned down a free dessert should be all you need to know. Overall this experience left a bad taste in our mouths and I can in no way recommend this place. For the record, our wedding was a great experience with excellent food. I have eaten breakfast at this same restaurant and it was very good. We were also given a voucher for a free couples massage and it was sublime. The problem does not seem to be Water’s Edge overall. I’m writing this review from a very nice room on the third floor.... we have no...

Service was a little slow, but it ok, not hard or good, just ok. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, but once we asked, they were delivered quickly. It was such a pretty day and this place was recommended to us. We ordered the following, but not in this orders lol

Lemon cello Ravioli Honey wings Oysters Calamari Old fashioned

Old Fashioned Not sure how they made this wrong, but i should have known it possibly would have been wrong when my waitress looked confused. Anywho, it was bad!

Calamari Was pretty good. They also have fried peppers mixed in with the calamari! They calamari had a pretty nice flavor and crunch! I’m not typically a calamari eater, but this calamari was pretty tasty!

Oysters Not my thing, but he said they were good. I can’t really comment on them, but he ate them all, they were probably good.

Honey Wings Pretty good. Not too sweet. They were fried perfectly, not too hard and not under cooked. Im typically not a fan of sauce or glazes on meat, but these were pretty good.

Ravioli It was yum. Wasn’t very hot when i got them, a tab warmer than room temperature. They were perfectly filled with cheese and meat. The sauce was also good. It taste like something was missing, but that would just be because it was not hot. Nothing bad was missing, just felt like something else could have sprinkled on there. Hopefully this makes sense. I think I’m used to Italian places offering fresh pepper… Idk how to describe it exactly, but it wasn’t bad… just could have used a litttle something something extra.

The lemoncello was honestly the highlight of the meal! It was so yummy and fluffy!! The cake bottom was moist but light. We literally ate allll of it. I questioned the chocolate swirl stuff on the plate, but it was actually pretty yum!

Can’t say I’d ever eat here again, except for maybe a drink at the downstairs part. We left there after our meal, they were more attentive and the drinks...

When you have a beautiful resort, you need to have a restaurant with awesome food. Unfortunately, this place does not meet the mark. My boyfriend and I had a pumpkin caramel martini which I assume is only available around the holidays and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the white bean ravioli dish for my appetizer which was decent, but not great. This dish probably could be tweaked to make it a lot more flavorful. I had the halibut for my main course and it was single handidly, the worst entree I have ever in my life had at a restaurant. It was bland with zero taste and there was absolutely NO SEASONING on it whatsoever. There was some kind of sauce poured over the halibut, but it did absolutely nothing to enhance the flavor or taste of the fish. You might as well have not even put the sauce on the fish, because neither the sauce or the fish had any taste whatsoever. Its such a shame that such a beautiful, picturesque resort has such a low quality restaurant on its premises. It also doesn't help that when you walk out of the restaurant I noticed there is a giant, monstrosity of a 5G tower right across the street from the resort which cell phone towers are a serious health hazard. I would suggest finding a different place to eat. While the ambience and view is amazing, the food certainly does not match the fancy, upscale atmosphere of...
