I've been staying at Water's Edge this week and enjoyed dinner at the Seaview Bistro on Friday for their prime rib special and entertainment. I was thoroughly pleased with both! My Caesar salad was unique, for me at least, in that the anchovies were front and center, placed right on the salad rather than in (or perhaps in addition to being in) the dressing. My prime rib was cooked perfectly, and the chocolate bomb dessert, filled with chocolate and raspberry mousse, was indeed "da bomb"! :) My server, Serena, was delightful and friendly, and my seat, next to the crackling fire, was hard to beat.

We were here on vacation and dined here twice in the 4 days we stayed at the resort. The vegetarian options are limited but all of them are delicious, freshly made and portions are decent sized too. Beet salad is really good. Quesadilla is recommended The cocktails Water's edge punch is a must try. Paloma and spicy margarita are the second best. People are kind and attentive. Don't forget to get French fries with cocktails and take them to the beach! Have a blast!

6 of us came here for dinner tonight. The experience was awful from beginning to end. We had called ahead and made a reservation, they were not busy but had us waiting for quite some time while they “set up a table for us”. Then, when the table was ready, the lazy hostess walked half way to the deck and then stopped, and pointed then instructed “it’s the table at the very end” instead of walking us to the table. We sat there for at least 10 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. I had to approach a busser who was clearing another table to ask him to send a server over to us. She took our drink orders, then had us waiting another 10-15 minutes before coming back to the table before we were finally given the opportunity to order. Four of the entrees came and my husband and myself sat there watching the rest of the table finish their meals before we were given ours. When we finished, the waitress asked if we wanted to order anything else, we said no and asked for boxes. She took another 15 minutes to come back to us, empty handed and we had to ask her for our checks. At that point we just handed her our cards, which seemed to be a wise decision because she took a long time (surprise, surprise) to return to the table. All while this was happening, we watched a table be sat next to us at minimum, 20 minutes after we were sat. They were walked to their table, greeted immediately, received their food before my husband and myself, and checked on frequently. Completely unacceptable service. Will not be back and will warn our family and friends to stay away from this...
