Kozeta's — Restaurant in Westbrook

Called to order three pizzas. I literally had to repeat my order several times as she wasn’t understanding what I was saying. This didn’t bother me in the least. Got the pizzas home and one was made wrong, there were onions in it and I specifically requested no onions. Again, not a big deal I called and the same woman answered. I told her what happened and she immediately got on the defensive telling me she wrote it down and I didn’t ask for no onions (3 other people standing in my kitchen heard me say it) and that she would have no reason to not write it down. I told her I couldn’t believe she was arguing with me about this and that I needed one made with no onion. She said “fine I will make you one but you have to pay for it or bring the wrong one back.” Which we did. But I was insulted with the arguing about who was right and who was wrong and the insinuation that I was trying to get a free pizza. I just spent $60, I could have gotten three pizzas cheaper at at least a dozen places within 10 minutes in either direction. We have ordered from here several times, it’s close to home and I like to support local business and have even overlooked wrong orders (which there has been a couple) and never asked for my food to be remade. My first order from Kozenta's was a small breakfast pizza with sausage. It was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked and the sausage was so good ill be getting it in a sandwich soon. The one huge mistake I made was that I didn't order a large and had extra for the following day. The pizza crust remained me of the original pizza villa in Portland which I order from a thousand times not the same there but now Kozenta's makes it exactly how I like it. I'll be back for a gayro, pepperoni pizza, sausage sandwich, salad and baklava. Customer service was top-notch very kind and appreciate of my business. Best pizza I've had in a long time!! My last review said best pizza I've had in a long time!! That was 2 years ago. Since then the restaurant had a fire that closed it down for a long time, too long for me since I loved their pizza! But anyways they reopened recently in August/September 2019 and we finally got to go back for some of their amazing pizza only to find out that it's even better than before!!! My husband and myself ate in silence that night in complete awe of how delicious it was! Everything was perfect! The crust! The sauce! The cheese, OMG the cheese!! So so good!!
