It's difficult to enjoy a meal when you're being cheated.
We live a few blocks from this restaurant, and my wife likes their war wanton soup when she's not feeling well. She instructed me to get her soup tonite.
I ordered by phone from their online menu which says War Wanton soup for 4, clearly listed as $10.95.
I ordered by phone & drove over to pickup. When I arrived, my order was waiting.
The young man at the cash register presented the bill with the soup charged at $13.95. I told him that the price listed in their online menu was $10.95. He disagreed with me. His sidekick told me that was the price for 2. No, that's the price for 4. Another of the cash register gang volunteered, that's the lunch menu. No, that's the price listed on the website. I paid & left.
In my car, I rechecked the online menu on my phone which confirmed War Wanton for 4 $10.95.
I went back in & presented my phone. The full family was assembled at the cashier's area - father, sons, two officious well dressed, jewelry bedecked older women.
I showed them the menu with the entry. One, then another examined the phone, then another. One argued that it was not the right restaurant, but the website clearly showed the name of the restaurant,?telephone number, photos, etc of the restaurant. Another went back to the lunch menu argument.
Bottom line: They cheated me out of $3. The experience did not make the soup...

I am a vegan and the mix of vegan and conventional proteins is good. The vegan appetizers especially the vegan egg rolls and crispy noodles are delicious. Our server suggested I order the vegetable Chow mein. This vegan entree was large, with crisp veggies and a rich sauce. It was delicious.
The others at our table ordered fish and chicken dishes. They called their well prepared meals delicious.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; checking after our food was served to see if everything pleased us. Our companions ordered an extra entree for tomorrow's lunch. Drinks are large. Refills are free.
This is a Chinese restaurant. A large percentage of their meals are take-a-way. The containers used for carryouts are strong enough to survive the trip without leaking.
STUFF: Pricing is moderate. Free parking in their ADA...
Read moreThis place is beyond stingy! We’ve been ordering from here once a week, sometimes twice a week, but it’s gotten worse and worse. We constantly ask for soy sauce packets and utensils and never ever get them. This last time we asked about the soy sauce, they said they limit one packet per entree. Every time we order, we get about 4-5 entrees and the bill is always $85+. You're telling me that you can’t supply more than 4 packets of soy sauce for an order of that size? Each entree is supposed to be shared with others so am I supposed to share the one soy sauce packet between let’s say 3 or 4 people? On top of that, we asked for extra chips that come with the hot and sour soup and they charged us an additional $3.45 after we already received the order. Why would you charge extra for something that is already included? If we were dining in you wouldn’t change for either soy sauce or extra chips. I understand businesses try to pass on the extra charges/fees on to the consumer but sometimes the business needs to eat it up and not pass it on to the consumer as it’s the cost of doing business. I refuse to support this restaurant anymore and won’t be...
