Westlake Yacht Club — Restaurant in Westlake Village

We recently attended a wedding Here and some concerns we have were the way the staff acted during our event. The location is very pretty for a wedding I would think early in the year and later on in the year to avoid the hot weather. The weather really has an effect on this location due to the fact that this location does nothing to help cool the area. They do not have fans available and Refuse to put up umbrella's. Which is confusing because the restaurant next door has their patio completely full of umbrellas to shade their customers.. At the reception we requested umbrellas for the older people at the party because they started getting heat stroke symptoms and we were refused. Not only were we refused but the staff gave us major attitude because we were requesting them. We have Spanish-speaking guests that understood what the staff was saying when we were requesting umbrellas and they were discussing amongst themselves. Also if you choose to have your actual wedding at this location be mindful that they do not shut down the walkway next to the deck and you will get random people walking up-and-down during your wedding ceremony. Also you will be right next to a full restaurant of people watching. It was a pleasure to work with Stephanie and John at the Westlake Yatch club. This is a classy and reasonably sized venue for private parties, weddings and memorials.

They had a group of about 150 people and Stephanie and the team went into overdrive to set up extra tables and arrange the room to accommodate everyone. It was a beautiful memorial for a wonderful woman and her enormous and beautiful family. The food and decor were tasteful and well crafted. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and hard working.

We had our Bar Mitzvah celebration at Yatch club yesterday on Oct 4th/2023 for our son. Stephanie helped us for the arrangement from beginning to end. Words can not explain what a out of this world treatment we received. She is an angel on this earth that is sent to make memories that last a life time. Her staff, John and others on her group gave us and our guest superb treatment that was outstanding. We will never forget her kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and so on.
