Famous Shawarma 2 — Restaurant in Westland

I've tried this place several times because it's close to my house and I absolutely love Mediterranean food but tonight will definitely be my 'last' time at Famous Schwarma! I get the same thing every time. 1/2 deboned chicken which I asked again for them to go light on the seasoning spice and it was actually spicier! They call 3 thinly sliced pieces of chicken a 1/2 order de-boned? The rice was OLD and clumping together with the usual 1/2 teaspoon of slivered almonds! Their fatoush salad is nothing more than a house salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, NO onions! A traditional fatoush salad isn't predominantly lettuce! I was asked if I wanted onions in my salad and I said "will that cost extra" the reply was "yes". Fatoush salad comes with onions any other place and at no extra charge! I also asked for the pita chips to be put on the side which they mixed it in the salad and even though the salad had no dressing the moisture from the lettuce made my pita soggy by the time I got it home!! With the 1/2 de-boned chicken comes 2 tablespoons of garlic dip! So that leaves you to have to PAY for extra if you want to enjoy your meal! Also what threw me is that every single time I've ordered from here I am given ONE sandwich bag of pita which is ONE pita cut into triangles. Tonight I had to PAY for extra pita bread because ONE BAG isn't enough for TWO people! They charge 75 cents for ONE pita bread! RIP OFF MUCH?! Also how the heck are you serving SPOILED TURNIPS?!! I have had Mediterranean from several places. This is the worst. The order was said to be done in 20 minutes. My friend had to sit at the establishment 25 minutes after the order should have been done. The fatush salad was nothing but a tossed salad with onions and ranch dressing. You dont put ranch on a real fatush salad. The grape leaves were thin and full of rice; couldn't tell there was meat. They were cold, and one side was dry and hard like they'd been sitting out. Shwarma wrap was cold and had barely any pickle. The garlic sauce was globbed on the ends and not spread through the whole thing, which was disappointing. The pickle and garlic sauce is what make a shwarma wrap so good! Mediterranean is generally a little higher prices so I very seldom get it. Well, I took a gamble on this place tonight and it backfired on me. I placed a relatively sinple order for delivery at 9:05PM tonight. I called the restaurant at about 10:10PM as I hadn't received my order or any phone calls, but the answering machine picked up stating that the restaurant was closed. At about 10:35PM I received a call from a woman saying that someone had attempted to deliver my order but there were no lights on at my house and I didn't answer my phone. That was a flat out lie as I was sitting in my kitchen with my 16mo old son waiting for our food and my phone never rang. I double checked my confirmation email and all my info was correct. So, if I could give this place 0 stars then I would have definitely done so. I won't let this place waste my time again and I'd advise you to do the same.
