Marina's Pizza 1960 — Restaurant in Westland

my family loves thete pizza it quickly became a Saturday thing in my house with a family of 3 kids and 2 adutls we have a decent sized order. well we had stopped ordering from them due to delivery times. we decided to try again a couple weeks ago and wad told 45 mins to a hour... well a hour and 45 mins go by and still no pizza callef and asked what was going on and she said she didnt know the driver didnt havr a phone. ok she was extremely rude. 10 more mins and still no pizza finally i call and tell them i no longer want the order. the driver than shows up 2 hours and 15 mins after i orded. well decided to try and order again same thing was told 45 mins to a hour no pizza after a hiur and 20 mins... call oh yeah driver is on the way.... 10 mins later no pizza by this times my family is starving and irritated i once again cancelled the order and had to get something elses for dinner. well about 20 mins latwr i grt a priviate number call from marinas the lady had a major attitude and was very unprofessional asked if i refused my pizzas i stated yes because they whete over a hiur and where cold im not going to pay for cold food. she than stated to never order from them again very rudly and childish. they most my bussiness. very sad and disappointed in how they...

Long time full menu pizza joint that's been in this shopping plaza for 50+ years!! They use a special blend of cheese that's like no other, great sauce, & old time pepperoni (that's unique, a lot of others use a grade that tastes to much like sausage & bitter), and then it's all cooked in an old style pizza oven. They're pizzas can be oily/greasy (that's because of better ingredients) that will make your heart Dr. have a coronary himself, I have a special way of removing this that I've been doing for 45 years, I like my pizza a little well done, where theres tan/brown spots on the cheese & the edge of pepperoni a little crisp. Today society has accepted under cooked pizza, if the cheese is white/light yellow, it's under cooked. Theres 2 things I know in life, #1 is pizza!! Anyone who knows me will tell you, you can even ask Stephen or Frank, how often & how long I've been coming there. I travel all over for pizza, I got 2 places in Mexican town (yes really) I go all over for it!! I ate pizza every day for most of the last 40 yrs, but now I'm down to 4-5 times a week, and Marinas is my usual go too, they got good burgers as well. WARNING AS OF NOVEMBER 2023 Marina's is under new ownership. They destroyed the food and are charging TWICE AS MUCH!!! I ordered a half slab rib dinner and a fish dinner the total was $55!!!!!! They didn't put the fries or Cole slaw in the rib dinner and my beloved cod dinner that I've ordered for decades was replaced with MINCED FISH PATTIES WHICH WERE DISGUSTING!!!!! Big, soggy fish sticks for twice the price of the actual fish that the previous owner served. I HOPE THEY LOSE ALL THEIR BUSINESS.

When I called to complain, the owner argued with me ultimately screaming at me; "we're not giving you anything for free" ... as if I were some penniless bum looking for a handout!! Then he hung up on me!!!

I never asked for anything free. I wanted a refund!!!!
