First time ordering from here and it will be THE LAST. I ordered the standard chicken fried rice, nothing special. When I got home I noticed there weren't any vegetables at all. So I figured that maybe this is how they make theirs so I have it a try. When I bit into the chicken it was mushy and didn't have the same texture as chicken. I looked around the box and I noticed several cubes that looked like tofu! So I called asking if they mistakenly made my order with tofu and the guy informed me that they used pre-cooked chicken and that they don't have peas and they don't put vegetables in their fried rice. He offered to remake it but it was not what I expected. So I took it back to the restaurant and spoke with the manager or owner. I let her know it was not what I expected and that I didn't feel comfortable eating this mystery meat. She replied "Ohh so you wanted REAL chicken??" I said YES, I wasn't aware you had alternative chicken on your menu. She looked at the container with hesitation and I informed her the box was full and I wasn't going to eat any of it. She refunded my money and then asked me "you're not from here are you?" I replied no with caution because I'm not sure where she was headed with this question. She said because people from around here know what we serve and we never have problems. We normally don't refund money, and when I responded she started yelling at me "goodbye have a good holiday bye BYEEE, I give you your money now BYE." She was extremely rude and provoking and I don't care what people in this neighborhood are used to eating. If I order chicken, shrimp, beef or whatever that's what I expect to get. Not your add water science experiment mystery meat. So yes mam, I do want REAL CHICKEN, and I will gladly go to another restaurant that will provide me exactly that. If this is top 10 in Westland then that...
Read moreJust left the restaurant, after sitting there for a half hour. The waitress (short Chinese young woman with short hair, who has taken our families order numerous times and actually knows what we order) came to our table to take our order, highly agitated. My wife asked how long would it take to get our food, because we have already been sitting for a half hour without even getti g a menu. There where only a hand full of people eating at this time. The waitress began literally yelling at us at the top of her lungs, stating tell me what u want, Im here now as my boss is at home sleeping in bed. Then she yelled stating "YOU ORDER NOW!!!" I couldn't believe what was happening. I stated "I REFUSE TO GET YELLED AT AND GET TREATED LIKE THIS". I have never in my 45 years on this planet ever been talked to by a wait staff at a restaurant. My wife responded and stated we are good its best we leave. The waitress stated "Leave and leave 4 dollars on the table for the pops". As we got up to leave other patrons responded to us stating I cant beleive the way she just talked to you, shaking there heads. Extremely mad about the treatment, but in all reallity upset due to the fact I have been going there for 30 years, and our families favorite spot to go. Our kids LOVE it, well did. This incident happened I front of my 14 year old daughter. For the record we never raised our voice or asked in a cocky manner. I mean we request this waitress to serve us everytime we go there, its mot like she doesn't know us. Im extremely disappointed about this incident and honestly can NEVER return. Extremely embarrassed. You know it's bad when the hostesses where shaking, due to the waitress...
Read moreGreat Budda Feast from menu when I stopped there one time because I was light headed/dizzy because even though no longer diabetic, I knew my blood glucose level was low. I was surprised at the quick service attempted when I first sat down. I did have to move from my comfortable booth to another when an older couple was seated behind me and her perfume was too strong for me because of a hole inside my nose as a result of horrific car accident in Nov. '81 and year's later had to have a keloid removed from right side and slowly I just learned this year a hole opened up and no surgery available to fix it. It has caused my voice to change possibly because later prescribed Flonase nasal spray. My right ear is also now affected as I hear decimal's higher than most people, and things like smoke alarm detector's and siren's from ambulance's, fire trucks and Police are painful. I now speak do soft many people complain they cannot hear me and was also diagnosed with vertigo. So, often, I don't know if blood glucose is low or vertigo causing...
