Yummy Bakery — Restaurant in Westminster

Came here to get a sandwich and instantly regretted it. I ordered the pork sandwich — do not get this one. It’s loaded with fat, and I mean more fat than actual meat. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve been here a couple of times before; the first visit wasn’t too bad, and the second had some fat, but nothing like this. This time was the worst by far.

I even called to let them know, but the person answering didn’t understand English well, and after trying to explain, I got frustrated and hung up. Honestly, that was the last straw — they just lost a customer.

The only decent thing about this place is the bread, which is actually pretty good, but that’s not enough to make up for the poor quality of the sandwiches. There’s a better sandwich shop right around the block that gives you actual meat, not scraps of fat.

At 5:15 pm today, September 11, 2025, I purchased 1 box of bao bun and a bag of boiled peanuts worth about $24 total. I paid a surcharge of 3% for using a credit card. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA. I came here to look at reviews after ordering because of the service. Even though they clearly have items up like tea, I ordered a sandwich and decided I wanted tea also. When I went back to order the tea the lady said “we don’t have”. I asked for peach tea. Same thing. Strawberry tea. Same thing. Any tea? Nope. It honestly felt like she just didn’t want to charge me for it because when I asked for Apple Pay she made a sigh.

Most importantly, my chicken bahn mi was not good. It was not good quality and made me feel pretty gross afterwards. I ate 1/3 of it before throwing the entire thing...
