No possible way all the 5 star reviews are not bought. Ordered 24 cupcakes for a birthday party. Ordered Purple Or Pink color theme, roller skate or if not at least glitter theme, 1 doz single flavor second dozen assorted flavors. Also one cupcake special for birthday girl. Paid $80 up front. What I picked up 10 min before the party was 24 cupcakes that were extremely suspiciously like cupcakes I could have gotten from the grocery store! tasted like box mix and hardly all what I ordered. They could have just looked at the invoice THEY wrote and sent me! Assortment was chocolate and carrot only. No theme AT ALL. No individual cupcake for the birthday girl (10 yrs old). No roller skate theme AT ALL. No glitter AT ALL. The ONLY thing that was right is there were 24 and they had purple and pink frosting. All Of them tasted and had the texture of store bought cake and frosting. Guests remarked about quality. When I got home I had an email from them stating that they could see I was upset and they were sorry it wasn’t what I ordered and gave me a coupon for 12 free cupcakes. Thanks but no thanks. 9/1/24- Update! I ordered two big orders from Valerie in the last 3 months. She is my go-to girl for desserts and for our special occasions! Valarie always succeeds expectations! Her desserts don’t compare, and all of her designs look amazing. She’s always available to answer my million questions and provide guidance on how to make the best of choices for the occasion. I will most definitely continue ordering custom desserts with Valarie because her work, her creations, her passion shines through each and every time. 5 million stars for Valarie of Lilys Cakes and Bakes! Searched a few bakeries in the area for my baby shower cake. Decided to go with Lilly’s as all the reviews were great. Reached out to the bakery and got a response right away. Got some basic information and told them exactly what I wanted. Later Valerie reached out to me to get more info and also suggested the cake size, decorations and the minor details. After finalizing the cake order Valerie was a phone call away to answer any questions and concerns I had. Valerie you’re the best, thank you for working with my husband and I. My husband and I were both really happy when we saw the cake. It was exactly how we wanted it and it came out very beautiful.
