My friend shared some fresh, round, buttery dates with me a few weeks ago and they were so good I couldn't stop thinking about them. He told me he got them at this place so I finally visited today and I'm overwhelmed! It's such a strange little place (but bigger than I thought) with tons of middle eastern treats, candies, fresh local and imported honey, bread, snacks, ice cream, jams, cute little tea sets, coffee, tea, spices... This place is fantastic! The dates are amazingly fresh and organically grown (although I never saw an organic label) that doesn't mean their not! The olive oil variety is like walking into a world market and the local selection is strong. Where they really shine is the customer service. It's okay to ask questions here, they treat you with such respect and get excited about their own products, it was a great shopping experience every time I go. I personally make this place as a good place to stop by and grab a delicious date shake that not only tastes good but provides one with the many great health benefits of the date fruit.
