EXCELLENT service and greeting upon entry and exiting the restaurant. The atmosphere was laid back and it was the lobby and dining areas were clean! Our waitress was prompt and punctual for any napkins, drinks and ordering timeliness. She was more than willing to accomodate my 3 year old and bringing chopsticks and an saucer bowl for him. We ordered two appetizers, which come out before we could even put our straws in our drinks. We also ordered 4 entree plates which were all sizzling hot and fresh and we ordered a specialty sushi roll. The entrees and sushi items all arrived to our table before we could finish the appetizers. All items were portioned well. We had 4 leftover boxes to take home, in which were basically full meals and part of some noodles which could be considered a lunch portion. The pricing was excellent for the food itself (taste), the service and the food quantity. A friend told us about this hidden jewel and I am so glad they did! We most definitely will be back. BTW, the panang curry...
Read moreCheck your food. Friend found maggots and bugs in the rice and other Chinese products. MY experience was bad from the waitresses. Asked three for help and none seemed to care or put the time and effort. Soup tasted bad as if they just drop rice graisn in there. I've had authentic Thai so if you think this is a Thai restaurant,it is not. Chinese restaurant but will make Thai food. 2 stars for the generosity of the manager and the sushi chef. He helped me for what I needed and it was sad I had to get up and ask him. Thai tea tasted watered down. Milk was at the top, should be on bottom. Shouldn't have to stir down and let ice melt. Food was okay, mainly high on sugar and less flavor. Waitresses really don't seem like they wanted to be there, at least that day. Bad customer service from them. Was good when they first opened up. If you don't wanna take this to consideration, at least check your food first. For your...
Read moreWorst "pad thai" I've ever had. I've been to Thailand. I've had Pad Thai at at least two dozen different restaurants, in four different countries over my lifetime. This wasn't even close. I've had Pad Thai in Canada that came closer. They've taken standard Thai ingredients, thrown them together and instead of putting it in the garbage where it belongs, they affix a title to it, sell it, and thank their lucky stars that Alabama folks don't know better. I tried to pawn off the meal on my dogs (because it was neither hot nor sweet as it should be) and even my dogs wouldn't eat it. Noodles, chicken and peanuts is NOT what makes Pad Thai. Where were the eggs? The green onions? The FLAVOUR?! Oh, the spring rolls are actually good. Just don't expect even a shred of...
