Weymouth Express Pizza — Restaurant in Weymouth

Express Pizza used to be my favorite pizza in the area, but with the management change came ingredient changes as well. They went from an amazing crust to something incredibly generic, tiptoeing the line of not good. The sauce is different as well - sweeter, I think, but not bad at all.

I was disappointed to get a new menu and see that two of my favorite items were gone: cheesy bread and the waffle ranch fries. You can still order both is you use GrubHub or their website, but when I got the fries last time they had almost no ranch, cheese, or bacon to speak of, which was very disappointing. I haven't tried ordering the cheesy bread, for fear that it wouldn't be as good.

They also changed up their chicken tenders - they used to be actual strips of chickens with really amazing breading. The BBQ chicken tenders were the best! But they have switched to a generic frozen chicken thin sliced breast - while still quite tasty, they just don't have the oomph they used to.

So yeah, I don't love them as much as I used to, but I do still like them. Everyone who works there is the absolute best. I'm sure the new manager is great, I just wish they hadn't made ingredient changes and menu changes.

Oh, and if you really like cheese on your pizza, be sure to order extra cheese on the weekends. Who ever is cooking then is light...

So I have been a loyal customer for a few years with Express and for a while we were ordering 4 large pizzas a week. I dont usually do the ordering but the wife was busy so i went ahead and did it and of course made the mistake of ordering smalls but the worst part was they were $56 due to the google site you order through is a 3rd party app. I tried calling and talking to them to maybe figure something out since i need 4 large and thus dont have enough food. I was told it was my mistake and too bad and we were basically in a screaming match because he refused to listen to anything i was saying and even was told to f off. Pizza is ok. Service is terrible and management is ridiculous. Pizza places are on every block and you would think they would take care of those loyal to them but think again. It’s sad to say this because express used to be my favorite place but I feel like once the previous owners left the place went downhill, I know it takes time to adjust but I hope one day they can master the recipe that the old owners carried I ordered their big boy sub last month and chicken was dry and felt like I was chewing my food for days and the pizza I had recently the sauce wasn’t good and pizza was very floppy, I hope you guys can revive the greatness that the express name carried all these years
