I called the Town Clerk this morning to ask them where to file a small claims matter and the lady did not know the answer. I asked her if that made sense. She said, "What?". I said, "That you don't know the answer and all you can do is to tell me to ask elsewhere". She seemed confused. I then said, "My point is that you do not know the answer to my question and it seems likely that you do not care to find out what the answer is". She hung up the phone and, I am guessing, went about her business. For me this speaks to the difference between the private sector and Government. The worst clerk of all times. Received excise taxes 2018 for a car I sold in 2017 the car was never driven nor in my posesiones 2018. The registration was canceled online, yet Weymouth town hall send me excise taxes with the amount of $247 for a car was sold for $300. Long story short the lady was no help whatsoever, she acts like she is the DMV and out of the blue want me to bring bill of sale for someone I don’t even where he is now not to mention no body ever stuck their nose into such things let alone telling you to bring bill of sale. Called the Weymouth Town Hall today to have a childs car seat put in by a certified tech. Spoke to Ann-Marie & she said I could come right over. Once I pulled into the lot. Anne-Marie & Julie were already in the parking lot Installing someones car seat. Julie came right over and installed the car seat. They double check to make sure there are no recalls on the car & the child's car seat. After they complete the paperwork & explained everything to me.
