Brooklyn’s Tavern — Restaurant in Wheatland

Great food: the dough/crust of the pies is probably my favorite of anywhere I've eaten. The cooks are generous with the toppings. The pizza's are huge and fresh. Every time I've gone I've watched the pizza come out of the oven and be slid onto my table in 20-30 seconds.

Great atmosphere: Authentic vibe from the moment you walk in. I love that it's all open and you can chat with the cooks while you sip your drink and they make your food. It's also a perfect balance of a spot between family friendly and bar scene. I've gone with my kids and seen my son talk and play with the employee's kids and I've also gone and enjoyed company with friends after dark for beer and a late night slice.

Great service and people that work at Brooklyn's. No fake personalities from any of the employees. The things they can do quickly, they do. The things that take longer, they frequently but not annoyingly touch base and let you know that you're being taken care of.

While some others on Google seem to have had a pleasant experience at Brooklyn's Tavern, we received such terrible customer service that when I have shared the details with multiple friends, they couldn't believe we didn't just walk out. There isn't enough space here to spell out the lack of professionalism, but after driving from Hartville to try out the new pizza place, our family was sorely disappointed. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but we all felt our experience deserved to be shared. Driving into Wheatland, you don't think that you are going to have some of the best pizza you'd ever have. But wow, what a pleasant surprise. The place has that inviting familiar feel of the much loved neighborhood pizza joint. We got the buffalo chicken pizza and wings. Both were phenomenal. The crust was crispy, yet pleasantly chewy. The gluten was well developed in the dough, but it wasn't over risen and heavy. Great flavors on the sauce and cheese as well. We will definitely find a way to drive up from colorado again to get a pie from this awesome...
