Between the relaxing sips of a variety of coffees, lattes, teas or cider and the pages of your favourite book I am convinced every town should have a Wandering Hermit in it. This place has a highly diverse selection of books to choose from, as well as the atmosphere to sit back and enjoy them in. But it's more than that, if you're gift shopping this is where the unique and surprising gifts are, puzzles, toys and "It just made me think of you" things. They also have a small selection of snacks and light meals, even gluten free! If you're passing through and want a break from the road be sure to stop in, you won't be disappointed!

Where do I even begin? I will start by saying that the coffee and the customer service has ruined any other coffee shop for me. The drinks are phenomenal and the seasonal menu items are just absolutely amazing. Simply put they are scrumdiddlyumptious. The customer service is simply unbeatable. I love the drinks, the books, and the atmosphere. It’s such a warm and welcoming place. Whether I’m getting coffee to go or sitting down to enjoy my coffee and watch the world go by for a little while I always feel so welcome to stay a while.

I've been working in the area for two weeks, and I was in desperate need of a QUALITY coffee. I'm sure glad I found this gem of a place. Very inviting employees, great book selection, and the drink I ordered was fantastic!

The Wandering Hermit is my favorite place in the whole town of Wheatland. When I walk in I am instantly greeted with the smell of coffee and new books. Their book selection is vast. They have books for all age groups, and for kinds of readers. One great thing about this place is their selection of used books in the back, if you're looking for something to read but not have to spend $10-$20 on a new book, instead, you can pay $1-$2 for a book. Although, you don't get the privilege of the 'new book smell'. But they still have an amazing selection of used books. If you're not into books, don't worry, there is one more thing, they have a HUGE selection of board games and other...

Has to be the best bookstore I have ever visited! They have a cafe and a lounge in the loft along with other places to sit and read. The atmosphere is very calm, relaxing and homey. The staff are absolutely amazing and make you feel welcome. As soon as you open the door you are hit with wonderful smells from the cafe mixed with the books, the place looks wonderful and is decorated to complement the 100 year old building. Behind the store is an outdoor lounging area with a mural, which is a wonderful place to enjoy yourself in warmer weather. I definitely...
