Quaint place with nice ambiance but that was why it was 2 stars. Website was not updated. Prices increased, and some menu items were replaced. Beer was flat, no head. Not worth the $7.50 a pint. My husband asked the bartender about the chive potato battered fish “Po Boy”she said it was a new menu item. It came on a potato bun with a slice of cheddar cheese that didn't melt and had lettuce and tomato. When she asked how it was my husband said it was a generous C+. She didn't apologize or seem to care too much! He said it was similar to McDonalds! Fries were salty and mushy inside. Apparently the owner was sitting at the end of the bar and decided to order one to see what came out. We were gone before it arrived. Not sincerely apologetic enough and didn’t even offer a discount. Glad we were only in town for one night- we love breweries. A brewery usually has more than 2 of their own brews on tap (they had 2 milkshake IPA’s) We were very disappointed. It was more of an expensive restaurant than a brewery. Definitely would...
Read moreFantastic steak house with excellent food. But, Kate, our server, was the highlight. Genuinely friendly and helpful. Fantastic service from a very nice young lady.
Because there were so many choices, Kate recommended the half rack of ribs for me. I was hungry, but went with just the half rack. Glad I did, as there was a lot of meat. The ribs were excellent (although too much salt rubbed on...which an indescreate napkin brushed off). No fat. Just very meaty with excellent texture. 2 choices of sauce. I went with the Memphis (on the side)
My wife chose her favorite, chicken alfredo. She said it was excellent. It was also a generous portion.
The food is good. The atmosphere and decor make for a pleasant dining experience. But, Kate, our server, made the evening.
Prices appear a little high, but, for what you get, they are very reasonable.
We highly recommend Windy Peaks. A fantastic find in a small friendly Wyoming town, just north...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our 12th anniversary. He ordered a New York Strip and I ordered the ribs. My ribs and the sides were tasty. His steak was very fatty and grisly that he was fighting to cut through it. He literally had only eaten 3 bites.
We asked our server, Jazline, for a new steak because this New York Strip was not a quality cut. She took it back. Out comes Julie and Angie "What's wrong with this!" They told him there was nothing they could do about the cut. I told them they could cook a different steak for him. They proceeded to say he had eaten over half of it and they weren't going to give him a free steak. Over half the steak was fat and grisly. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!
AVOID this place if you want a quality steak and quality service when the food comes out as a bad cut of meat! You will be yelled at for asking them to fix a problem!
Jazline, THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATED CUSTOMER SERVICE! You...
