Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Wheaton

Update 10-03-2024 - Changing my review to 4 stars. The service at this location over the years has really improved. I see a lot of the same people there month after month and experience really makes such a difference in the customer interaction. I haven't tried doing an online order recently so I don't have any good feedback for that but the in person service ordering is very good at this location. I am only 4 stars because there are some food quality differences, especially in the quality of chicken and the flavoring. I thought the supply chain would have the consistency down but sometimes its noticeable that it's a lower grade of chicken and sometimes it's great. Recently I have gotten 2 chicken bowls that seemed like they added 10 times the amount of pepper as intended and almost made it inedible. Overall though again compliments to the staff the service has been much better in the last year.

Been ordering from this chipotle location several times a week for the last several years. It's extraordinarily frustrating how often they mess up orders. Some common issues (forget to make the online order entirely, forget side tortillas, forget ingredients in bowls, add ingredients not wanted to bowls, etc). In addition to this the biggest frustration is you never know how much food you're actually going to get, sometimes it's full to the brim and sometimes it's 1/3 full.

Recommendations to chipotle. Follow the basic directions for online orders Serve the same amount to customers...

My wife and I once frequented this Chipotle as a convenient stop after workouts at the nearby VASA Fitness. Though the portions often fell short of the generosity found at other locations as some other reviewers have noted, they were predictably modest and sufficient for our needs.

But last Sunday, convenience turned treacherous. In the dead stillness of 3 a.m. Monday, we were jolted awake, both becoming aware of a violent battle within — a storm we now know as one of the most harrowing bouts of food poisoning we’ve ever endured. Our only shared meal that day had come from this Chipotle. By sheer fortune, our home boasts two bathrooms; otherwise, our home would've immediately and irrevocably descended into anarchy.

For nearly 48 grueling hours, we lingered in the liminal space between agony and slightly less agony, hovering near a decision to seek emergency care. Recovery brought clarity: we will not return to this place, and it will likely take quite some time, maybe more time than we have left, to trust a...

I’d give a 0 if I could. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I ordered three things, a kids taco bowl, a keto style salad and a burrito. How many of those do you think they got even close to being right?? The kids plate turn out semi-normal cause you would have to be an idiot to mess up 3 toppings. Oh but they did give the kid 7 chips total so still terrible. Then again... How can you mess up the one true salad bowl you have on the menu?? not a single ounce of lettuce in there. The "burrito" came in a bowl not a single tortilla in sight. Just lazy employees didn’t wanna make a burrito I bet. Of course you can't contact the restaurant to tell them they did it all wrong. Just a classic delivery order with terrible employees who don't care about the people who aren't standing in front of them. 4.1 stars???? AS IF! Terrible location even if you make your order to their face. They should fire everyone and shut it down. Seriously do not waste you money...
