I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!!! Rebecca was so incredibly kind and accommodating. I hosted my mother’s 70th bday here and planned everything from out of state. I cannot begin to describe how many details we went over and Rebecca and David were not only more than willing to go the extra mile and help plan but also incredibly kind and responsive. David is truly a master mixologist. I’ve done events for almost 20 years at the highest level in nyc, miami and beyond, and David is one of a kind. His cocktails were extraordinary. He even helped me create speciality custom cocktails. The entire day which could’ve been so stressful was perfect because of them!!! Seamless. I wish I lived closer so I could host more events there. Wheeling is known for lots of things but one of the things I've always felt it lacked was cocktail bars with fresh ingredients. There are tons of bars but in a lot of them you're getting cheap well liquor with drink premixes and you will not find that here. The new owners have put in a lot of work to make the Foundry what it is and the bartender obviously knows his stuff. The BEST drinks I have had in Wheeling hands down and some immaculate service. We came in pretty late after moving and they were so apt to be kind to us and were really invested in giving us the best service they could. A lot of businesses come and go in our area, but I genuinely hope we get to keep this one ❤️ If you have the chance, I could not recommend it higher! I have been to the Foundry on a couple occasions and while I am not a fancy drink fan, I appreciate that they have beer on tap. However, when I paid $21 cash tonight for my 2 - 16oz beers and when I questioned it, the owner put me off that my 2 beers were entered into the computer wrong … he offered me a $5 gift card for the mistake, and I will not be back. It wouldn’t have been that difficult to apologize for the mistake and make my bill right!
