My family and I just had some great food at Fuzion Express II in Flint, Tx!!! Thanks to a great recommendation, we decided to hop in the car and make the short drive out. It was more than worth it. I had a chance to speak with the owner of the place. He informed me that he used to be the head chef of Julian’s for 12 years and that some of the recipes were carried over. That definitely excited me, seeing as I loved their chicken fried rice. We ordered 2 appetizers (the potstickers and the crab wontons). Both were equally flavorful and had a great texture. I especially liked the sauce for the potstickers. For our main dishes, we ordered the chicken fried rice (full order with no veggies for me), orange peel chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. 2 orders got fried rice and 1 got noodles. We all really enjoyed our food and we didn’t have a single complaint. The food was hot, full of flavor, and the portion size seemed fair for the price. The service was also really good. I highly recommend making the short drive out to Fuzion Express II if you haven’t already.

I had high hopes for this place. Being it's second location and FINALLY had a chinese place in town. But the food was bland, and portions were small, especially for the price. The lettuce wraps came on 4 small remain lettuce leaves. The chicken was overcooked. I was really disappointed. I honestly can make everything they do but twice as good and for a fraction of the price. Oh, not to mention they do not have kids' portions or plates. I asked the waitress, and she said they do, but I was charged 12 bucks for my 3 yr olds plate of over cooked chicken and what was supposed to be white rice and broccoli.... Update... I was asked to come back and try again. I still was not impressed. The lettuce wrap tasted like the meat was rotten, and the portions were still ridiculously small for the price. I will say the pot stickers had a good flavor. The Mongolian beef had good flavor but was overcooked. The honey shrimp had a decent flavor but tasted like they used the small frozen shrimp as well as had a different taste that wasn't honey.

We ate early and the food was like it had been sitting. The noodles are good. They got the service down. The restaurant is very nice. It's split. They do have coke products. Tea is okay. If they work on the freshness of the food. It would be amazing. Kinda pricey. I don't mind paying for fresh made food. It a clean restaurant. They are very accommodating too. I dont know if its just over done or sitting on a too high heat. I will try again in a couple of months, because of the service.

āļøāļøāļøāļø FOUR STARS honest review w a bit of constructive criticism. Take away the good! Give this place a try and your feedback. They WANT to bring our area some good Asian Fusion, I hope they can!! My son and I stopped by to try out "the new place" for lunch. The Fusion signs are helpful but nothing indicates Asian until you are inside. I think many may pass this place by simply because they don't know what it is. This used to be a BBQ joint (still noticeably rustic). They've tried to bring and Asian vibe with artwork and pretty Chinese lanterns. Music may help? It's not 100% but I think they're doing what they can. Give them a break. On to the food: SPRING ROLLS came out quick, fresh and quite tasty! PAD THAI was fresh and hot. This dish was tasty with good flavor tho smaller portion than expected. The chicken was slightly over cooked. It was still ok, but if I made this at home, I'd make a note to cook it til done less time or at a lower heat next time. CASHEW CHICKEN was also fresh and hot. The flavor of this one was a miss for me. It was very tangy, I'm guessing lime juice? I like lime! Several Asian dishes are served with a few fresh lime wedges to add to your liking. The dish came out as is so perhaps added lime when making? The tangy here far outweighed the savory. Not sure if this much was intended. Chicken was a bit over cooked, same as Pad Thai, and also smaller portion than expected. (Would have asked for redo but we were very short on time, hence no pics either) WE'LL TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN! SERVICE was very good and attentive. Food came out quick. Drink refills were timely. Bathrooms are very clean. *TIP Noticed a man coming to the door, which stuck hard, and he stood back reading their hours, confused. I pushed door loose to see if he needed help. He said he thought maybe they were closed, door locked. Nope, they're open, just PULL THAT DOOR HARD! 🌟Please give these guys a try and your input so we can build up our ETX options and...
