Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Whitehouse

This is one of the worst Sonic restaurants I have ever had the displeasure of eating at. They cannot get an order straight, and have a rude female assistant manager at night. The last time I went there, I received low quality food, and when I got home 8 miles away, the chili cheese coney I had ordered was dry - no chili nor cheese. The tots were cold and very greasy, and had burned to black french fries in them. The jalapeno poppers had cold cheese in the middle that hadn't even been melted. These types of problems occur there constantly, at least two out of three times, as I am buying food for 4 people and they can never get an order of that size correct, it seems. I called and got the female assistant manager on the phone, and she began arguing with me, claiming I had ordered the dry coney, despite everything else having chili and cheese on it. She was very rude, and she obviously believes the customer is never right. I intended to call the manager the next day, but I didn't. This has happened so many times, I just don't go there anymore. Apparently, the night shift there figures that they're the only fast food in the area, so who cares what the customers get? I just decided never to eat there again, and would advise anyone else not to do so either. My daughter placed an order for a small popcorn chicken and paid for it...all at the kiosk, with no help from any employee of Sonic. It asks if you want to give a tip, and gives options to choose from. My daughter chose no tip, repeatedly. It kept changing it to $2 over and over again until it finally just charged her credit card for the popcorn chicken AND the extra $2! We believe in tipping, but we do not believe in forced tipping, especially for something like this. The runner only had to walk about 20 ft and hand her a bag of food. They didn't take the order, didn't have to go back inside to charge the card... nothing. When my daughter tried to tell the runner what happened, she literally took off back into the store. We have tried calling the location MANY times, to tell them that my daughter was charged without her permission, but we can't get them to answer the phone. The way the runner acted, made it seem like they know this is happening, and are taking advantage of it. The worst sonic EVER. Several stalls are out of order at all times, the wait is normally over 20 minutes, When you get your order, it’s most of the time wrong. However, most of the kids working there are always sweet so I’ve never complained. This evening when I sent our drinks back for the correct ones, a gothic teenager with a bull-ring in her nose brought back the new drinks & argued with me about them being correct the first time. & Not in any kind of joking manner. I honestly felt threatened & extremely disrespected. With my kids in the car with me. She literally THREW straws at my car lol. When I asked for her name, she refused to tell me. When I asked to speak to the manager, she informed me that she WAS the manager. I would HATE to know that I was paying an employee like that to represent my investment. Pitiful. ** Update.
