Whataburger — Restaurant in Whitehouse

From the moment my girlfriend and I arrived, we were filled with thrill and when we opened those doors, we saw the cleanest, most well taken care of food place I have seen in a long time. I know that this store just opened a day ago, but my oh my, the parking spots are massive compared to others and, I do really appreciate and like that, the manager came over and even sat to talk with us about the experience so far, it's so quiet at night that, if they have nothing else to do, they make sure to clean even the tiniest of messes. The food was amazing, I told them my order and it exceeded my expectations. My girlfriend would agree as well. I'll give a short summary now of how it went:

Me: I ordered a what a chicken with no tomato and whatasauce in it; light whatasauce. And, to my surprise, it came perfect, I would say the lettuce was pretty big but no biggie, the issue is the whatasauce. In every other Whataburger they always tend to overfill my burgers with whatasauce, and even if I say light, it doesn't look any different. Not only did this Whataburger give me exactly what I wanted, but it also explained why it usually comes out the way that it does on the other restaurants by saying that the squirter they use sometimes pumps out a little too much, even when they're trying to go light. Again, amazing service and they felt very chatty and I enjoyed that.

My girl 🥰: She ordered an Avocado Bacon Burger, she told me that there's not much to say about it, but that she can tell that it's better than usual. Not only that, but they got her order correct too! They sometimes accidentally mess it up on other Whataburger's; and the lady up front (the name's Angela), for this one, she repeated her order back to her, just to make sure it was correct from the start to finish.

Lastly, I want to add that the atmosphere here is beautiful, peaceful, big, and it has plenty of seating spots to have a bunch of people inside without any issues of being cramped up to each other. This spot is beautiful in so many ways and I'm very happy to have experienced it on the second day!

P.S. THEY GAVE US WHATABURGER CUPS AND WE LOVE 'EM! I haven't felt like a toddler in forever and this made my day...

A Great New Whataburger Done Right!

It’s always exciting when a new Whataburger opens, but this one in Palestine really sets the bar high. Everything about it was spot-on for a fast food experience.

The ambiance was fresh, clean, and energizing. From the modern decor to the upbeat atmosphere, it just felt good to walk into. The entire place was immaculate and well-stocked, and you could tell they take cleanliness and presentation seriously.

Service was top-notch — every team member I encountered was friendly, smiling, and geared up properly with sanitary protection. The food came out incredibly fast and was perfectly prepared. Everything looked and tasted fresh (even the fries).

Shoutout to Richard (I believe he was the manager and pretty sure that’s his name?). He was not only helpful in helping me pick a new menu item to try, but he also clearly treated the team with respect. From the outside looking in, you could tell the whole crew worked well together and seemed to enjoy being there.

It’s nice to see a Texas staple like Whataburger staying true to its roots and getting everything right. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Only thing that could make it better is if they brought the A1 Thick & Hearty...

UPDATE... They still have untrained employees. It is crazy how they still do not know what they are doing! The portions are ridiculous as well. I had high hopes for this location. I love the view outside. The employees are super friendly. Undertrained in ALL areas but really friendly. I have noticed that who I assume are assistant managers dont know how to handle customer service. The last time I was here, I ordered extra veggies. It was a simple fix, but 6 people had to discuss what to do next. Then, the main manager came by and told them to just get him extra veggies and move on. Now, on this visit, I ordered a breakfast taquito with shredded cheese instead of the sliced cheese. They charged for the shredded cheese, which I can understand, but when I told them not a single person knew how to refund me for the cheese it was the same assistant manager girl and she had to talk to 5 people again. Of course, it all could have been avoided if I was told my total. I would have knosomething was off before I payed. I will change my rating as time goes by. I know they are new and learning. Just be patient if you come into...
