This is one of those legendary local dog and burger places. If you ain't eet at Eds you are gone wonder why. This is the best hotdogs and hamburgers you have ever sunk your teeth into. There so good you'll definitely come back. Folks from around here that stay somewhere else now would not think of coming back if they colluding go by Eds. And you talk about friendly and service then you got a be talking about these folks. They the nicest folks anywhere, Ms. Diana, Mr Earl and Robert and all the rest of this family they do seam like family. See the name is after. Very disappointing!! Visited Ed's Grill today in downtown Whiteville and was very disheartened with the food because the bun were falling apart (either old or had been frozen) but mostly the price. I am a firm believer you pay for what you get but we got 3 CB, 1 BCB, 1 Chicken Filet, 2 HD, 2 chili cheese fries, 1 Regular Fry, 4 winnies, 4 drinks and price was 59.33...as I questioned the owner because I felt he had over charged me, he stated a hotdogs was 2.75 and the price for a winnie was the same as a hotdog. If that's the case I bought him 4 packs of winnies today but never again!! I called Jerry's Sandwich Shop and could have gotten everything there for 48.00 and it would have...

Service leaves a lot to be desired. Been here at least 20 minutes, and still haven't gotten our food. I understand they're slammed, but it's not right, when someone who came in after you, get their food before you. All we ordered was 4 hot dogs just ketchup, a fry, and 2 drinks. All we've been given is our drinks. EDIT: We just bought hot dogs from there today (1/18/2020). We didn't eat all of them, so we brought the one that hadn't been touched home. Well, I open it to cut it up, and feed to my dog (glad she was eating it, she would've eaten it anyway), and I opened the wrapper, and there was a living stink bug in the wrapper. Totally disgusted.
