There was a large group there together celebrating something and they had about 20 people at 3 or 4 tables connected. Its a small place with booths and tables about living room sized. The decor was okay and the place was clean. We went to a booth and sat waiting to get a menu. There were 2 people working and were busy with the large gathering. After about 10 minutes the waitress came and took our drink order, my sister got unsweetened tea with lemon and I ordered a frozen marguerita and unsweetened tea. She came back with the tea and told me that all they had for a frozen marguerita was a pink lemonade slush going and I might not want that and she could cancel it but the other lady brought over the pink marguerita and said to try it as it was already made. I took a sip or two and it tasted like pink lemonade so I said no I didn't like it. She left it on the table and said to drink it I might decide I liked it and if I didn't there was no charge. The rim was dipped in sugar. We ordered a Mexican sandwich made of fresh baked bread with small pork pieces, mayonnaise, Avocado, jalapeño, lettuce, cheese and onion. It came with choice of fries or rice and beans. My sisters tea was sweet so they replaced it with unsweetened. The sandwich was huge so we cut it into fourths to be able to pick up to eat. It was just okay. I couldn't tell if the meat was pork or chicken and it was very lightly spiced. It wasn't hot or really warmed but my sister thought it was probably warmed in a microwave. The fries were frozen and just warm as well. No flavor. The cheese dip was complimentary as was the salsa and chips. It was okay but the chips were bagged chips and very thin no seasoning. The bread was okay. Overall the service was okay and the meal was just OK but we probably should have just stayed with enchiladas our...
Read moreWe had heard some really good things about the food there so decided to swing through town and take our grandkids living there to an early dinner, visit and exchange Christmas gifts since we would not see them again for a bit. Got there around two, seated ourselves and got the chips and sauce, which were enjoyable. It wasn’t until we asked for some water that the waitress, who we were told later is the manager brought some. She bluntly said the kitchen closes at 2:30 so we needed to order. It was very obvious she was disgusted that we had come in to eat and she made the entire rest of what should have been a very pleasant family get together extremely miserable. At ever exchange she just oozed disgust and indifference and as we were leaving had the nerve to say we’d been rude since she went out of her way to make sure the kitchen fixed our food. Yes, the food was good, not great but good enough to have come back for but frankly, this woman’s attitude poisoned the experience.. if serving customers on Sunday afternoon is so painful, for God’s sake and future customer’s sake, just do not be open on Sundays. If this women treats all days and customers like this, promote her to customer because good enough food will only keep you in business...
Read moreTERRIBLE service. The manager/ waitress was VERY rude. We were told the kitchen was closing at 230 so we had to put out order in at 215. By 245 they were basically staring holes into our head, pushing us out of the restaurant. While we were eating the very disgusting food, the manager/ waitress and her co worker were moping the floor with what smelled like, straight bleach. When she brought my food and my daughters food, I told her thank you three different times and she never even acknowledged me speaking to her. When we were leaving, I went to the restroom and came out, to this woman basically yelling at my mother telling her she had been rude to her the entire and she didn't appreciate it. This was the manager!!! You guys should definitely find someone more friendly to your guest, to represent your place of business. I will never come back to your place of business again and if you guys want to be leaving by 3, you should make your closing time 2,...
