Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Whitewright

This is a good location to get food however it is not always the best. At times the food quality can dip you can get the wrong items or things will be made overcooked. Customer service is usually good but sometimes can be curt. The driveway is almost always full and when it is not they still make you pull around and wait. The outside of the store is not cleaned very often so it's fairly grimy most of the time. Parking lot is poorly maintained and the cheapest person to do asphalt is hired causing it to be pretty rough parking is not marked and only a couple handicap spots are marked. It is not accessible friendly to parking services rough and the entry to it is too far. In addition to that I wouldn't necessarily say it's accessible friendly for the entrance either due to how rough the surface going to the entrance is. Inside the store is decently accessible but not completely in the bathrooms are definitely not accessible friendly. Door lock on the men's room doesn't always work and is never repaired. Overall I would recommend this location but be aware it's not going to be right every time or...

Very Disappointed the past few times we have been there . Last night my husband ordered 6 PC steak finger basket ,I ordered #1 meal no onions no pickles and when we go once we go out order home he ended up with 4 steak fingers and 1 chicken. Mine burger with onions and pickles and no fries with my meal . All this after going over twice on the speaker and due to them not getting it right we pulled up to the window and ordered again. And THEY STILL DIDN'T GET THE ORDER RIGHT . This unacceptable! This is pretty much the same experience we have had the past few times we have been . I'm really believing this store need new management God only know what goes on back in the back . Looks like we will have to drive to the new one in Bonham...

I realize this is Dairy Queen but it's one of the few places to eat near my farm. The Dairy Queen near my home is not as good or it's the country air! Anyway I've eaten there a couple of times and have enjoyed it both times. Double cheeseburger is huge and was made fresh. I drove through and grabbed lunch before heading to the farm. The 2nd time a friend came up with me and we had dine in. It's decorated cute for a Dairy Queen with some string lights up. It was also clean. Staff was friendly and our food was made to order.
