This post is for Jon! A man with tattoo sleeves and a beard. I walked in he was cleaning tables and started a pleasant conversation asked me how he could help me and I said I don't know I don't come here often he stopped cleaning tables helped his coworker ring me up helped me find something I wanted to eat then after the order was put through he started preparing my bag asking if I wanted any sauces then I said I wan't ketchup, he grabbed a handful asked me if it was enough, After i said yes then started a pleasant conversation while i waited for the food to be ready he put everything in the bag and guided me to the napkins and plastic wear and told me to have a nice day and be safe with the snow. now I'm a construction worker and I don't usually do this for anyone but this man's personality , drive and cleanliness was immaculate i was probably going to walk out the restaurant with nothing without him and his customers service is 20/10 i am amazed he worked for this establishment and was as kind and helpful as he was. I just want to say if this man isn't the store manager he should be THE STORE MANAGER! hands down the best experience I've ever had at a Wendy's in my life. Bravo jon you made my day and you are beyond...
Read morebeen waiting in line at the wendys drive thru located on rt 18 for literally a half hour. i thought this was supposed to be "fast food" service.. horrible. to add, 80% of the time i go to wendys (especially the one in whitman on route 18) my food is cold; cold as in "hey im eating a frozen burger with stale fries!". the only reason that i continue to go to this "establishment" is solely based on the hope of receiving a good, quick meal after working 12hours that day - with little time in between working to enjoy a meal. I've come to the conclusion as to why i continue to give them my service, and the only possible reason being comes down to three possible factors: that i am subliminally addicted to wendys, that i hope one day ill be exceptionally satisfied, or, that i am simply a dumb, carelsss, lazy, exhausted and hungry person that will, to put plainly, will eat just about anything when I'm hungry (& at that time no other restaurants or grocery stores are open so i suffix the ultimate sacrifice and cave in.
all in all, long story short, to end this gnawing pointless rant, wendys food and service could use some serious positive...
Read moreFinally, a Wendy's run by adults! What a breath of fresh air to be in a Wendy's drive through, with 6 or 7 cars in line, and yet, everyone remained calm, the staff were professional, patient, and cheerful; the food was hot, the fries were crispy, and the order was correct!
Seems simple right? Read just 2 or 3 reviews about the nearby Rockland location and you'll understand why I'm not the only person who takes pleasure in driving an extra 10 minutes to come here rather then suffer the unbridled romper room chaos of Rockland, easily the worst Wendy's in New England.
And it's not like Whitman had to be perfect either. They were cash only for whatever reason this evening, but the manager came out and informed the lined up cars so that nobody would waste time finding out only after waiting in line.
Also, bearded guy at the window, thank you for accommodating my kid's toy color preference with a smile rather than a condescending sigh as was the experience at, you guessed it, Rockland. Much appreciated!
Whitman is the only Wendy's I'll visit south of Boston...
