HTeaO - Wichita (21st & 127th) — Restaurant in Wichita

ZERO stars... we ordered a large iced caramel macchiato and a large iced Texas chai latte through the drive thru. The girl could not understand what my husband or I were saying. She had us pull to the window. They for some reason couldn't make our drinks according to their menu. The menu said both drinks were available and available in large but they said they don't have a machiatto and neither of those drinks come in large. Ok. My husband, being incredibly patient, changed his order to just a large iced coffee instead of the machiatto feeling exasperated at this point. It took 3 people to take our order and a whole different person handed it to us... They gave husband a PLAIN LARGE HOT COFFEE so not even the right order.... what in the world....

We will never visit this location again. It was our first time at an HTeaO and it was an awful experience. So awful that it pretty much ruined our whole night, though we shouldn't have let it. I've worked in customer service for 10+ years and many years in a drive thru even and never would treat my customers how these young women treated my husband and I. I saw this & I had to come here & try it out. First off, let me tell you. When I first walked in, I was in awe. I was expecting a standard tea/coffee shop, but this one completely changed my perspective. They have an array of wonderful teas that are all self-serve & they have small cups for taste testing! Which is perfect!! I tried about 7 different kinds before settling on the Texas Chai Tea. Also, they have complementary orange/lemon/lime slices for your tea. I asked a young Lady what do people usually put them or what does she suggest. I was thinking lemons, but she mentioned orange slices & that opened my eyes to something new & different. Which sounded amazing to me. So I went with what she said & orange slices it was. I’m glad I asked her, she was correct. It was better with them.

They also have an assortment of merchandise for purchase if you so choose to, as well as a few bottled drinks. All in all, a wonderful place to experience as I travel through Wichita, KS. I am excited about returning One Day. Thank you HTeaO (Love the name) &...

I really enjoy going to HTeaO. They have a good selection of tea and some toppings, although you have to pay like...maybe 75 cents extra??? Which I think is a bit much. Nonetheless, it's not overpriced and they have happy hour everyday from 2-4 with half priced drinks which is cool. The first time I went, I didn't know they even did happy hour so we got there right before 2 o'clock. I checked out literally 3 minutes till 2 and they charged me full price. I was not made aware that in 3 minutes I could get half priced drinks, so my mother and my sister both checked out after 2 and paid only like $1.65. I thought that wasn't cool but whatever. I also downloaded the app to get points. The next time I went in I tried to scan the QR code for points, but it didn't scan. I said I would just scan the receipt later, but the machine didn't print a receipt. Disappointed I got nothing from that order but I suppose it's not their fault. Overall, it's...
