I was not aware of their operating hours as I approached the drive thru in the morning. I pulled into the drive thru at 6:29AM. I waited. The light on the menu was barely lit, so it was hard to read. Another two vehicles pulled in right behind me. And we waited. And waited.
I tried to talk to someone - anyone - in the speaker. No response. I called the restaurant from my phone and let it ring and ring...and ring. No response.
FINALLY at 6:33AM I pulled around the corner to see if anyone was even in the store. I could see a white individual (older) at the end of the corner of the sidewalk smoking. He sees me and immediately goes back inside. I pull up to the window and no one is present in the store.
I see a black individual (young) smoking at the door just outside drive thru. I pull up and ask if he works here. He said yes. I asked if they were open as no on was responding at the drive thru. He looked over at the white individual as he was heading back inside and said, "I don't know. HE'S the kitchen manager."
I left. It was 6:34AM. As I pulled away, I could see several other vehicles in line. I went down the road to a competitor and gave THEM my money. Not happy. I expect more from this chain.
I can see now that the store opens at 6:30AM. In my opinion, at 6:30AM SHARP someone should've been taking my order. Not at 6:33, 6:34 or 6:35, which is when I assume the first...
Read moreOk. So until recently spangles service had been hit or miss IMO. However, recently, I had the best experience at the spangles at central and tyler. I was very frazzled and blood sugar was extremely low when I arrived at the Spangles drive through. The employee named Natasha was very patient and helped me get my order taken. She patiently waited as i studdered through my order and helped me add things like cheese and bacon to my meal, which i would have forgotten if she didnt suggest them! She also suggested I get the large combo instead of ordering individual items to save me a buck! She was so helpful! It was by far the best customer service I have ever received from a food chain, especially in the drive through were they were swammped other customers in line already! When I got to the window I began to apologized for my brain fog and confusion I felt that I had caused while trying to relay my order. Unexpectedly, I was met with care and understanding from her! Natasha was the highlight of my day that day! She not only provided great service but she made me feel seen as a person and changed the trajectory of my entire day! The food suggestion was great too! Great job Spangles and Natasha! I will now be a forever customer here at...
Read moreKiera I believe was her name the assistant manager on duty in August 26, at 840pm.
We walked in, and she didn't even greet us just asked what we wanted, my husband said he needed a second and she said "speak up nobody can hear you" so I spoke for him said "I'm sorry give us just a second" this lady rolls her eyes at me and walks away. I ask to for the manager bcuz maybe they'd have a better attitude for us and want to take our order, it's beyond me that this was the manager. Told her it wasn't okay to treat us with such disrespect (mind you my husband already walked out of the store at this point due to her giving attitude) (me and him have been in customer service since 15yrs old so this was beyond us. I told her that she pissed off my husband by giving him attitude and that she had no reason to give us attitude. All we said was one second, we'll after I told her abt the attitude, she said "cool are you ready or not" at which point I said "no we won't be dining with you are your attitude today"
We will take our business to the west street location where we were greeted, treated with respect and had the best service.
I hope yall fix...
