Where to start...
We recently moved to town and many people told us to check this place out. My wife and I had dinner earlier at Gordy's and decided to stop in for a night cap. Yes, like other reviewers say, this is a "townie bar". Now, just to set the record straight, I am by no way a "prude", I want to make that clear. But when we first walked to the place (we parked in the back lot), there were two guys smoking a joint next to the dumpster. To each their own I guess. But imagine our shock when one of the guys said "Hey, I will be right in..." We were a little confused by that, until we realized he was the bartender! What...the...heck. Like I said, I am not a prude, but why would an employee think its acceptable to be getting stoned while working?
Everyone inside was having fun, people were friendly and the drinks were strong. Loved the beer selection and some of their clothing. Talked to a few people, played some songs in the jukebox and then we left. On our way out, the bartender was back again, by the dumpster smoking a joint (Grady?).
