Starters Grill — Restaurant in Williamson

This was our 4th visit. Wait service was good 1 time. All other times we were kept waiting and the waitresses disappear. Our last visit was 10 mins till we ordered our drinks and apps. We told waitress at the time we wanted to place our dinner order too. She left placed our apps(which she said would be 'real fast') and returned 10 mins later with soda, but not the 2 beers. They came 5 mins later and were warm. THEN we ordered our food because the waitress was MIA between placing drink and app order. Apps came out and were good, the only good thing on the menu (Smoothered tots) but for a table of 7, only 3 sets of silverware were given to us. Again, waitress was MIA. 20 mins later 1 salad came out because 'that's easy to make', said the waitress. But 2 salads were ordered as a meal. Sweet tea refills had 2 inches if undisolved sugar sludge at the bottom of the glass, not mixed at all. We asked for 2 new teas. After 1 HOUR I asked to see the manager, explained the wait and that we were not happy. Our food (2 wraps, 1 sandwich, wings and the 2nd salad) came to the table as I was speaking to the manager. Food was mediocre. The manager did work with us to reduce the check and apologized for the situation. But by the time our food arrived, the place had emptied by approximately 60% of the customers. It was a frustrating experience and unfortunately we will not return. Note: Our visit before this was 1 month prior where again, the waitress was MIA, the food was late, some of it missing and we were over charged. This could be a great place but the lack of attention paid by the wait staff is killing the incentive of any...

If I could give 0 stars I totally would. This is going to be long hang on for the ride. Booked a reservation in early September for the party room. Was told that we would be seated all together in that room. We got there 5 minutes early and were brought into utter chaos our tables were separated and there were other people in the party room.. obviously when you arrange to be seated as a party of 20 you want to be seated with your friends and family after all this was a wedding party. The manager pulls me aside and was horrifically rude he said that he didn't think anyone told us we would be alone in that room and that we were early so it wasn't ready to go wait outside and them proceeds to ask if we still want to eat here or what?. We waited until 815 to be seated as another group of 20 came in 5 minutes before and they put priority on them and not us. Drinks came out extremely sporadically and the bar refused to make our drinks stating they didn't have milk. Thank goodness for the waitress who tried her best and went and made the Scooby-Doo snack shots we asked for. She was the only good thing about this horrifying experience. Then we wait for our food an hour and 40 minutes to be brought something that would be seen on Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares. The steak was like shoe leather and the two salads tasted a week old. It was awful and all they could come up with was 50 percent off our food :( really thanks for ruining my special night with this stuff you claim to be edible. The food was great! It was fresh, appetizIng & hot right from the kitchen - (not from a warmer.) We all ordered different things and every one of us wouldn’t hesitate to order the same again or anything else that they serve. Kudos to cooking staff! But even more importantly, it’s always been my belief that the one thing that can make or break a restaurant is the Service. The food can be outstanding but people won’t come back if they were treated badly or the Service was horrible. We had a semi-large group and our Server was ALE (pronounced Ali). She was amazing. Handled a number of larger groups (it was HS Graduation night) & she handled it all like a breeze. Great personality, friendly, terrific (genuine) smile, knowledgeable, incredibly accommodating to all of us (from toddler thru senior citizen), and from what I could see, her other customers would feel the same way. She was very patient and her efficiency was truly remarkable. I came down from Alaska to attend my grandson’s HS Graduation. Kudos to Ale for making our night even more...
