Bojangles is hands down the best fast food fried chicken on earth. Well, OK I haven't exactly traveled the entire earth to verify this thesis. However I have been enjoying fried chicken for half a century across the U.S. against all their competitors. They may be good -- even very good -- but Bo stands in a league of its own. The chicken is very crispy, moist, beautifully seasoned with a small touch of chili pepper (just enough to notice-- not enough to forge fire in your mouth). The fries (and the french fry seasoning which you can purchase and take home) are top notch, the biscuits are excellent and never more than 20 minutes old, the Iced Tea is nicely sweetened with honey and is not over the top Southern sweet tea. Bo has several other entrees and sandwiches, but make no mistake: the fried pieces of chicken are the superstar of the show. Service is often good, sometimes mediocre, but rarely poor. Prices are good, but for the quality you get I consider the prices very good. If Harold and Kumar can travel cross country to find White Castle, they'll do it backwards...
Read moreThis is consistently the worst Bojangles location that I go to. The staff AND the other customers are mostly rude, inattentive, and incredibly slow. There are passive aggressive signs printed all over the place in this location, my favorite one is the one on the supply closet door beside the condiment station saying something to the effect of "this is Bojangles property, you shouldn't be going in here". Well, if anyone at this Bojangles location felt like doing their job, customers wouldn't have to go in the closet to get their own paper towels or condiments... Speaking of the paper towels, there used to be four paper towel dispensers. Now it's down to one which is perennially empty. Why even have it at all? The hours that this location posts here on Google maps are, frankly, a lie, it is nearly always closed after dark, and they very often have a printed sign on the door saying that they'll be open from 7a-7p; which is what they ought to set their time on Google Maps to.
Also, if you're going to sell salads, why not...
Read moreMost all Bojangles are great. But if youâre not careful they will serve you old dried up chicken or give you a thigh and leg numerous times when you order double breast dinners. So look before leaving and make sure itâs not dry. I want fresh cooked and will wait if chicken is in the hot lights too long. Itâs worth the wait. They should donate all the drier chicken to the homeless shelters where they can make chicken noodle or chicken mull with it. So nothing is wasted. Itâs a tax write off for them if their management is smart enough to make time to donate.
My favorite is the chicken breast dinner with pintos and a biscuit. I love the dirty rice too but pintos are good heart â¤ď¸ food and removes cholesterol from the body, so eat plenty of pintos!
I love their breakfast biscuit specials too. Smoked sausage or sausage are my favorites! Hot sauce and honey are great for the...
