Ok, so my family decided a week before to have dinner here, basically to celebrate me and my husband's 5th wedding anniversary. We arrived around 7pm and the place was completely jam-packed, which is fine, I guess because this is a local favorite. We ordered appetizers, main course and a dessert.
The appetizer: French fries with cheese and onion rings. 👎 The french fries were bland and super greasy. Not appetizing at all. We kind of finishing it t still because we're kind of starving. Onion rings were fine, I think.
Main course: Pizza and two orders of Linguine Al Pescatore 👎 The pasta was soooo bland. The seafoods we're tasty but not the pasta, nor the sauce. I also picked a piece of hair before I ate it, and when I was almost done, I thought I had put into my mouth long shard of shell but no, it was a tough plastic that IDK what. I was baffled. I really could've asked for a manager but because it was me and my husband's wedding anniversary that I don't want to ruin our dinner moment that we planned ahead of time.
Dessert: Canoli 👎 Ok, this was the first time I ate a Canoli, I even asked what that was from my husband, but it was suggested so I thought it tastes good. But no, it's only sweet but not good at all. I secretly wished I ordered something else, like a cake or tiramisu.
They also served us a bread with two small servings of butter. The butter won't even melt to the bread because it's not warm enough.
The server was nice and friendly though.
Overall: 😐 I was not totally happy about my...
Read moreI really use to enjoy LaCasetta but over time the taste and quality of the basic items are just not as good anymore . I used to rave about their Pizza and Cheesesteaks but the last few times I’ve been extremely disappointed with my food . My cheesesteak barely has cheese (I specifically have to request extra cheese— which I didn't receive)and the bread is sometimes toasted too long or not enough . The wings were way too breaded and the sauce had a terrible burnt after taste. I did not enjoy any of it . My order total was $19 and it all went in the trash smh . Not to mention the small cup of ranch “for my wings” was $1 extra. Smh . The service use to be much better as well but now it seems to be more attitude every time you need something corrected . The town is small and barely has dining options but it’s no reason not to give your best to your supporting customers. No matter race or how frequent they go there. Prices for food these days are way too expensive for anyone to leave unsatisfied. Hopefully things get better but right now I won’t be ordering for a while . Not so much due to the food but the attitudes at the front need to...
Read moreLiterally the best food, experience, atmosphere, and service I’ve had in years! Every single item was AMAZING! Beyond amazing actually….my kids are picky eaters and they both were in Heaven and kept saying we had to leave a 10,000 star review and that it was the number 1 spot ever lol and could we come back tomorrow for lunch! It was only an hour before closing as well, and the owner Vinny and the waitress Mandy, were so sweet and made us feel right at home and not rushed at all! The owner came and took our order and told us all about his specials and menu…everything is made from scratch! From home made pasta, doughs, wraps, bread and authentic Sicilian recipes from his home town….and passed down from his mama and grandma! He shared stories of Italy and unique things about the restaurant and he was so sweet to my kids. You could tell he took so much pride in his food, restaurant, heritage and it showed in how amazing everything was. We will be back 100%, probably very frequently now that we moved back to the area! 10/10 recommend on...
