No wonder the reviews are so terrible.

As a first-time customer and new to the area, I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. While taking my payment for a thirty-dollar order, the employee held my drink in her hand. As I extended my card, I opened my hand to receive the drink, but she refused, saying with a dirty look, “I have to take your payment first—people steal it and drive off.” This was an insulting insinuation that I would steal, followed by her rudely snatching my card out of my hand.

When I addressed her comment and explained that assuming negative behaviors onto others is rude, I simply asked for a refund. She then snapped, “And I’ll take the drink back,” and escalated matters by making a false claim of being assaulted after a splash of liquid from the lid touched her hand—yelling, “She just assaulted me!”

I had not originally planned to request a refund, but her continued hostility and accusations left me no choice. To make this worse, my two young children were in the vehicle and had to witness her ugly hostility firsthand.

Before this visit, we had praised the South for its hospitality. Instead, what we experienced here was not hospitality, but hostility. This encounter disgusted me and completely ruined the reputation of this Hardee’s. I strongly urge management to take action and ensure staff treat EVERY CUSTOMER with respect and professionalism. If I could give them a zero, I would!!! My husband goes to the one in Williamston 5 days of every week, my mother is almost 80 years old and she loves Hardee's steak biscuits & we are her care givers and she lives 1 and a half miles from this one, so it's close. But, anyways, they have messed up our order 3 of the last 5 times. First we order off of the 2 for $5 mix & match, we order 6 steak & 2 sausage and egg,,every morning, they gave us 2 steak, 2 sausage, 2 plain,,and Charge us for 6 steak&2 sausage& egg at regular price!! 2nd time he makes sure he orders right and they confirm and he pays. He comes home after paying $21.80 and got 8 plain biscuits,,ticket said 6steak & 2 s&e. And no they would not fix the order or give him a refund. 3rd times the charm they say,,, today he orders 6 steak, 2 sausage & egg, 1 large coffee w/extra cream--- they charge him $33.45!!!! He asked why was it so much, 3 times, and she said either pay & move on or come in,, he paid $33.45 for 6 steak & 6 s&e and 1 large coffee. She hands him the hot coffee, lid was only half on it, he was telling her this and she let it go & needless to say, he was burned from the middle of his stomach down to his knees with hot coffee!!!! Hardee's in Williamston has went to complete crap!

Today and every time I go in there (which I don't much I usually cook dinner. But we have our lazy nights) Always messing up my order! Or waiting 10mins or more for my order to be taken. Or both that happen this time.

Ps. The manager that's there. Older lady with a resting (badword) face. Well she isn't lovely at all. Rude, is the nicest thing I can say about her. Trying to blame the girl who took my order. When she did take it correctly. The manager who was working on the food line. Was who in fact messed up my food. They also got my fiancé order wrong twice, the first time It was caught. Second we was already home. After the experience I had to endure with the manager for her to correct my order. I am done with that place. Until something changes!

Make note. I used to not mind waiting longer for my food. Because it used to be well worth it. But now, not so much. With horrible customer service, rude managers and staff. And how they just throw your food in the back and at you. Y'all need major changes or...
