Wicked Licks — Restaurant in Williamston

I normally do not rate a business poorly . Mybreason for this , is improvement needs to be made. I sat at drive through window only one at the window for 10 minutes before being waited on to be told if we rolled ice cream have to come inside , really put that in your drive through no rolled ice cream because it takes too long , me sitting there 10 minutes before you coming to take my order isn’t long . As I sat at this window I watched three people pick up whip cream can and put it back beside cleaning spray bottles which had cleaning products in them. Watched a person carry nuts for a banana split across the floor . Hand toss them in the banana split. How gross .. you need a better prep center to make it organized to keep people waiting this long 3.your staff walking around each other trying to get straws etc, totally dysfunctional. I ordered strawberry and chocolate ice cream I got vanilla and chocolate You need a person working drive through orders . 2 people working counter orders and staff ringing up these orders and bagging and getting napkins or lids . Not the person taking the order trying to prepare it. My main reason for two star is wrong order given to me and fact you prepare food with cleaning spray bottles on that...

I really wanted to love this place, as Williamston needed something like this. My husband and I took our 4 kids (one of which having special needs) and we waited in line over an hour (and there was only 6 people in front of us) . The lobby is so small and people kept jumping in front of us (I know this isn’t the owners fault) but it just made our whole experience bad waiting so long in such a small space it wouldn’t have been as bad had we had a bigger place to spread out instead of being butt to butt with other people. The girls working were so slow and acted like they had no idea how to do their jobs, which in turn lead me and my husband to not get the ice cream we came for after waiting so long because it was going to be another 30+ minute wait for what we wanted. The owners daughter was great, she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to make things work. I feel like this place has such potential to be amazing and we may try it again later on and have a different experience. I feel the staff should have been trained and ready for a crowd and things would have went a lot better. After my kids finally got the ice cream they really enjoyed it and beg to go back. I really hope the best...
