I haven't been here in a while and things have certainly changed ! When my husband and I walked in we were not greeted in their usual cheerful fashion but rather barked at asking how many would be dining . The waitress ( I think it was a she ) seemed annoyed to have to seat us and immediately wanted to take our order within a minute of getting our menus, I didn't understand the rush as there was literally 4 people in the restaurant and we hadn't even gotten our drinks yet. We placed our order with the usual "Please and Thank you's" given to every server encountered while dining out and I even deliberately exaggerated my smile and exuberance for my upcoming meal, only to get a blank stare and no returned friendliness... The meal came quick and was luke warm and not very flavorful , the beer was bordering on warm when served and it was like pulling teeth to get takeout boxes for my dogs so at least someone would enjoy my expensive mistake ! Once I finished putting our food in boxes our plates were ubruptly removed and the bill plunked down on the table, we were never asked if we were satisfied or wanted anything else. I paid the bill and still tipped as if I recieved good service only to have the bill snatched off the table and she was gone , there was no Thank you or Goodbye offered as we left . We generally sit and have a few more beers and relax if a restaurant is not crowded but I just wanted to go as nothing is enjoyable about warm beer and a bad attitude from a server ! I don't know if it was just a bad day or if this is the new norm for Shogun but we will not be back , Tony's on 200 isn't any further a drive for us and they are always friendly and the food is great ... Sorry, Shogun...But you need to smile when you take my hard earned money ! On a positive note , the bathroom was...

Ordered my chicken tempura roll and was unable to eat it because it came with avocado which wasn't advertised on the menu. Once the server dropped off our food she never returned to check on us so I could never change what I had ordered. When my wife finished her meal the lady came back and wanted to box up my food to go, but I declined. I explained that I had wanted to change my order to something without avocado but no further service was given to us and seeing as how my wife was already done eating it made no sense to order anything by that point. When the bill came the food I hadn't eaten was still being charged to us and when we asked them to take it off they refused and stated it was my job to make sure the food I picked to eat was safe for myself. I would have ordered something else but nobody came to check on us or find out why I wasn't eating the food they had sat down. My wife informed me that the sushi she had ordered was dry and unappealing as well. The atmosphere was pleasant enough but there were no paper towels in the bathroom and the urinal was filled with old piss that was brown and made the room stink. Second time visiting, never to return. Left hungry and...

This is our first time at Shogun and we were very impressed. We had the same shrimp tempura Bento Box on the lunch menu. It's an incredible price performer in addition to being an excellent meal. It was served with soup or salad rice tempura shrimp and vegetable a California roll and spring roll. Our stomachs were more than full and we had big take-home boxes coming back with us. In addition to the great food the service was exceptionally good and very friendly. The place is nicely done. If you need a sports fix there are a few televisions available however if you just want to be out eating at a decent Japanese restaurant you can ignore them and just pretend to be there. The cuisine is Japanese I believe most of the staff I met were Chinese and very friendly and the beer was Kiran. If you come in before 4 p.m. you can order from the lunch menu and get a tremendous deal on either a full set of Grow Foods a huge Sushi assortment or some fabulous Bento boxes. We will certainly be back. Three of us ate more than our fill and will have at least two additional meals out of this for...

This place is wonderful. Above and beyond really. My only wish is that they had a larger dining room or possibly I bigger establishment all together cause this place is booming in all the right ways. The food is fast and delicious. The only saddening thing is the wait to dine in for dinner and the sharing a parking lot with two other food industries. Dominos takes up 5+ parking spots and this restaurant is so nice and worth while that people are willing to sit outside and wait long periods of time to dine in. No complaint there because we would wait it over and over. But in the hotter and colder days it's hard for little ones and the elderly to stand or even sit outside to wait. We will support this place forever, especially because the staff are so nice and helpful but a bigger building would suit them wonders. I highly recommend the teppan dinners or shrimp noodles. The mochi ice cream is so unique 😋 This restaurants efforts are a 10 💯

Seriously fantastic! What a gem, right in the heart of Williston. Visited on a Friday night, it was busy (always a good sign) but we didn’t have to wait. They prioritised seating at booths. The menu is expansive - so much delicious sushi. We ordered 5 rolls and it came in a boat! Very fresh, delicious and with quick service. Then had matcha ice cream which came with cream, chocolate sauce and sprinkles! Honestly the whole experience was perfect and the price was extremely reasonable. This is easily going to be one of our favorite haunts now! We will be back.

12-15-2023: Today, I wanted to try Sho Gun Japanese Restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura which came with a salad and a soup (Miso). I also ordered the Mango Lobster Salad Roll and Krab Meat Cream Cheese Roll which also came with a soup (Onion). I have never been a fan of sushi, but wanted to order it anyway. Since I am not a connoisseur of sushi, I will let others rate the sushi in their review. I did enjoy the Shrimp Tempura and both soups. The staff were very friendly, and the waitress was very helpful in explaining to me the various menu options.
