This review is from when they first opened and just finally getting around to leaving a review.
I highly recommend staying away from any of the places owned by this same owner. First street...hwy 12...and spicer are the ones I know of.
When they first opened we stopped in twice and the charges were pending on the account for a few days and then just disappeared. We contacted Dairy Queen and they claimed they had no issues and everything went through that if we had issues to contact our bank.
We did just that. The bank stated they had three days to post the charge or they were not able to collect the money.
So we thought well its been a week and so we got free food since Dairy Queen did nothing and the bank stated the policy.
Needless to say, 30 days later the charges came across at the worst of times and overdrafted the account twice.
We attempted to resolve the problem with the manager at the time and they did nothing but be rude. They claimed they had issues with the credit cards batching automatically and someone was suppose to manual pull when it failed which someone did not do their job.
So the problem was our fault how? This was their problem not ours. The manager was very rude...did not resolve the situation and hung up the phone.
So we called back and asked to speak to Dan the owner. Did they pass the information on? Of course not. So we went through the Dairy Queen Headquarters number and explained there was nothing they could do since they are franchised other than refer my concern to the owner directly.
Again, did we hear anything? Nope!!!
So, if you want dairy queen and decent customer service....then stay away from these three locations then at least that I know of.
You wont get courtesy and you will get far from good service. In fact it will be closest to the worst of service.
To this date...The issue is still unresolved and knowing the owner and management I dont ever see the issue getting resolved and even if they tried anything to resolve it...how far would they go? I wouldnt imagine very far.
Disgusting place and...
Read moreWhere to even start with this particular DQ location. New building, completely destroyed. The floor is so sticky you can’t even wear sandals or they fall off. Bathrooms are disgusting. The staff don’t care one bit and don’t know what they are doing. Almost everyone should honestly be fired for how unprofessional they are. Food takes forever, we were the only ones there, and the manager is the only one cooking so if there’s a problem he can’t even help. Bought a milkshake, and it was all liquid. Gross. I didn’t even waste my time complaining. I’m not very picky and most dq’ dare decent but this one needs a reality check. Corporate needs to do sometime about this one. It’s a bump....
Read moreWe have given this DQ location multiple tries and I don’t think we’ll go back due to the constant and universal dysfunction. It was about 10 minutes from when we walked in the door until we were acknowledged by staff and there was only one other person waiting to receive their food. The payment systems were down and had to be rebooted by the manager. One of the large freezers in the dining area was out of order leading to constant beeping from the machine and water on the floor. The bathroom was in disrepair with soap dispenser sitting on the counter. Tables were dirty. Staff was friendly when they did acknowledge us, but overall this DQ location needs help before our business is...
