Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Wilmington

Upon walking in, I was surprised to see a chick-fil-a this empty, I thought burger king was bad but this location had exactly 1 table occupied (around 6:30 pm on the Saturday before Thanksgiving). Anyways, since I was in the area, I thought I’d give it a shot. I’ve placed a dine in order of the Spicy Deluxe. Firstly, the fries were okay, nothing impressive but the chicken patty in the sandwich was cold on the first bite. Upon diving deeper, I noticed one side was fridge cold and the other sort of like a microwaved-hot edge. It was impugning to decide whether or not the sandwich was hot or cold, perhaps, was I deceived by the fries? The milkshake felt too cold, I had struggled to consume it until it melted within about 15-20 minutes. However, the counter staff seemed positive and patient, I didn’t feel any sense of condescend. They thoroughly answered all my questions regarding milkshake choices and sauce picks. But from all the Chick fil-A’s I’ve seen (For example: Springfield, PA), this location is not on the same...

This chick fil a just opened a few weeks ago. My granddaughter was hired for front house team member.She gave her previous job a 2 week notice and look forward to becoming a team member. She has a very good work history! She worked a total of 29 hours, getting up at 4 AM and going to work at 530AM being on time. When she went to check her work schedule, she was told they over hired people and had to let her go! They were aware she had given up a previous job to work here. She feels they were not honest as the position and others is still available on their website, as well as Indeed website. We feel the decision was prejudice, as most employees are Spanish and African American. This area has a history of businesses going down real quick and from what I've heard from so many people who have stopped here, it's already happening! Do better Chick fil a! This young lady was eager to work and is known for her great personality. She's always been well liked at previous jobs and has never been let go, fired...

Updating 5 months later: decided to try this locations mobile order drive thru again. 6 cars in the normal drive thru have now gotten their orders and left. I’m still left waiting. My order finally comes out and I sit the bag in my passenger seat only to later discover the bottom of the bag was wet and left a stain on my seat and the lid to one of my drinks wasn’t on all the way. I finally get home to eat and realize the food is lukewarm and the ice in my drink has significantly melted. So, I can only deduce that my meal was just left sitting there after I checked in on the app and while those 6 cars came and went with their (probably) hot food. I’ve given this locations all the patience I had. This one is ~5 mins away from me but I’ll drive farther for better service. I was excited for this location because it’s so close but that excitement has quickly dissipated.
