Mr. Taco Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Delaware

I ordered from this restaurant numerously and never a issue till today that ultimately deserves a 1. The food was on time and very very delicious but I like customer service and this is what happened....

Me and my girlfriend ordered and the restaurant had time to cancel the order if it was a issue with driving. Unfortunately the driver (said he was the cook) really made the experience the worse. Keep in mind we ordered and delivered from here a lot. Never was a problem. He stated "I am the cook and the driver did not want to drive here. It was 5 miles to come here. We may not deliver here anymore"

This did not sit right with me so I called the restaurant and was no manager there. I left my issue there but never asked for a phone number which I doubt no one will call me back. It's unfortunate because the food is good but due to this I will never ever order from here again. I would suggest anyone who do want to eat here do carryout but be forewarned the customer...

Very poor customer service. I was ordering for 2 people. each of us ordered a burrito and a taco. I asked for the tacos to be put in separe boxes because they were going to seperate places..... the extremely ignorant toned man said

"no that is a waste of my product . I can give u an extra plate"

i told him to forget it and just give me one because this other person works in a seperate department... we arent allowed to have food thats not in a closed container out on the floor....the taco came in a small styrofoam box.... if u have 1 taco on the menu and 2 different people want to order that. You would think u can afford a 10cent box for each person.

My job is a loyal customer. Someone from my job orders from Mr Taco everyday!!! The food is great, prices are also great, however the customer service is horrible and needs some serious retraining. Despite how good your food is you will lose customers due to your lack of customer service. They were out of a certain item I want on the menu and refused to substitute . It was an hour after you opened, you were out of dark meat, how the hell is that my problem? As a business you should substitute due to YOUR business lack of having enough food to sustain a business day. Do Better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy customers keeps your damn business running....
