Iron Skillet — Restaurant in Wilmington

Have been to this restaurant many times. If I could describe it in one word it would be inconsistent. Went last night and ordered corn beef hash skillet for the wife and chicken parm for myself. The corn beef hash was ordered with regular corned beef. Only 3 small pieces could be found no cheese and under cooked potatos. Toast was stale. The chicken parm was even worse. This is one of my favorite dishes they have and was so let down. The chicken was over cooked and burnt. The cheese was put on prior to what they called sauce on this day. It was more like unseasoned tomato paste. If you can scoop it up with a butter knife and turn it upside down and NONE of it fall off there is a problem. Could not eat it. Tried but ended up making a visit later to the porcelain god. On other occasions the buffet has been good and other times food was dried out or left unfilled. It is really hit or miss. Also ordered a t-bone befor the chicken parm and was told they were out because new manager does not know when or how much to order. Just beware!

I appreciate you writing back on my review. However, I dont think your coaching or training did any good as I took my wife and 2 children there around 1030pm on Tuesday. We were waited on quickly by one waitress and I guess she left. We were then ignored by the other and watched as our meals sat under the warmer for over 20 min. At which point I had to go up to the register and tell her we were leaving! We were not charged but this is the type of experience that is constant at this location. And when I say over 20 min it was closer to almost a half an hour. The cook was doing his job and kept saying something to the waitress and she kept yelling back at him. The waitresses uniform look to be 2 sizes to small in the top and ready to burst open as well. After that last experience I will not...

This is the second time coming here against my better judgement. I came as a small group and most of us ordered the buffet, but my husband and daughter ordered off the menu. After waiting for what seemed forever (everyone on the buffet was already on their second plates) my husband and daughters pancakes finally arrived.... RAW!!! literary the batter was still runny!!! So we sent them back and got new ones which seems cooked ok.. well they discounted the whole table instead of just the bad food so everyone else got a discount and we still had to pay for the bad food!? Check a and b got a discount and check c also got the discount but it was only check c's food that went back!!! Then the buffet food was gross. The "scrambled" looked like flan... not any scrambled eggs I have ever scene. The had very few options and what options were supposed to exist were empty...just unpleasant experience all the way around, as I said this is the second unpleasant experience there I will not be wasting my money...

We had Charleys for dinner, the sandwich was delicious but the service is questionable, since everything you order there, must be carried away because the tables are a distance away from where you order, to my surprise, when I had to ask for a bag so I can carry our food and drinks, and we had to bag our food which should have been bagged before it was pushed over the counter! Isn't there any common sense left in customer service? The cow named Bobbie, is the least friendly cashier I've ever met in any store, when I didn't see the chew I was looking for, she made no attempt to see if there was any stored elsewhere, which I now for a fact that the shelf isn't the only place they store tobacco products! Drivers just park anywhere they want and nobody enforces the parking in a designated parking spot! I guess it's run by management that has no control over their children, because they just let people do what they want, no wonder our...
