Alrighty. Big fat porky reputation on this place to live up to. It did. It was right around 1pm when we arrived. The place had a few open tables and server called out to just seat ourselves. Nice gettin acknowledged soon as u walk and and simple directions for new customers = LIKE. So we sat in the bar area. Deco is upscale relaxed, if that makes sense. Most patrons seemed affluent and there were several fancy bikes outside. O course SO opted for the famous house specialty fried pork loin. I went for a reg burger and we got boom boom shrimp as appetizer. At this point the joint was hoppin, ppl floodin in. Our server was on the ball. I counted 10 tables on the bar-ish side, all occupied. and he handled ALL of them effortlessly! It was seriously hellaimpressive, if you've ever worked table service. He was quick on taking everyone's orders, zippy passin out drinks with accuracy. Seeing the volume of guests we assumed a longer wait time til the main course. But nope. The shrimp came out surprisingly fast and was HOT and crunchy and wonderful. At the rate the main courses were trotted out we speculated there must be fairies running the kitchen. The porkloin was indeed a massive plank o piggy. My burger- don't order that, was just normal, nuttin special. The porkloin was heavily battered and that seemed to comprise the majority o the section SO cut off for me. It wasn't particularly tasty. SO said you're posta eat it with the egg, bacon that came on it. Fair enough. The addition o the extra toppings certainly enhanced the flavor. In all, we got like 4-5 meals out of this one order, so that's great value. Once we got to the main area o the meat it was much thicker than the outer edges. Tater tots not great, but fries were wonderful. Crispy, hot and good enough to excuse the ubiquitous Red Gold ketchup Hoosiers demand. (Team Heinz for us Southrons :P) At my inquiry, the server said he took care of the bar area/section and a young lady handled the other side. These were seriously 2 of the most efficient waitstaff I have ever seen. If I owned a local restaurant, I'd actively be tryna poach them. Prob could do with a raise for...

This is the second time we've been here for dinner while camping at the state park. The help was wonderful, always checking on us and just all around great service. I got the broasted chicken dinner which was cooked perfectly, as was the grilled asparagus. If they would have offered an entire plate of that asparagus, I would have ordered it. The southwest chicken soup was good, but just regular. The portions were huge. I was full after the asparagus and soup and just a bit of the chicken. But then I had some to take home at just $15.50. My husband got the beer battered fish for $20. Again, the four huge pieces of fish were too large of a portion. Neither of us cared for the fish. The batter was too thick and you couldn't really taste the fish. The coleslaw looked colorful and creamy, but we were disappointed in the bland taste. We went with friends and everyone's dishes were huge, looked great, and good deals. We will return, but probably just order something else to try (whatever also comes with the asparagus). The only con I have for this visit (which is why I didn't leave a 5/5), is my husband ordered two drinks and they added a $4.16 fee to make the drink. Who does that?? I'd rather the cost be built into the price of the drink instead of seeing ridiculous...

I’m sorry to say but y’all arnt getting a good review this time … I’ll start off with , when my husband came in to pick up the food the young man at the counter told him ā€œit will be about 5 minutes, go stand over there ā€œ and didn’t specify so my husband stepped away from the counter and the young man snapped at him ā€œnot there …. ā€œ ok so my husband moved again… the restaurant is obviously busy with it being Friday and dinner time … but he stood there for over 20 minutes (20 more minutes than what we were originally told on the phone ) so when he got the food he sat 10$ down on the counter for the rude young man anyways (I wouldn’t have , rude kid ….) tell me why this snotty brat of a young man slammed his hand down, SNATCHED it off the counter and THREW it in the tip jar and walks away…. Okay… fast forward to getting the food home , the 80$ we spent on this food was not really worth it …. Again I know y’all were busy but I mean…. The burger had absolutely no seasoning and wasn’t even all the way done ! The cheese was hardly even melted , the onion rings were burnt and the popcorn shrimp wrap wasn’t even wrapped … I had to wrap it myself ! The calamari wasn’t fried all the way cuz some parts of the batter were...

Husband & I were planning on spending the day at the Tippy on a Tuesday, 8/12/25. We had no plans and have heard a lot about One Eyed Jack’s and their huge Pork Tenderloin sandwich. We decided to hit the place for lunch and try that sammie. Well, it wasn’t just hype. It, in fact, was as big a a pizza and crisp without being greasy. The flavor was sooo good light and crispy. It came with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion all on the side. We chose the tots over the fries and were not disappointed. We split this behemoth and still ended up taking half home. Leftovers! Yum! Now, let’s talk about the staff. Unfortunately, we didn’t get their names but we had a young man and gal helping us. They were so friendly, asking where we were from and what brought us to Winamac. Just chitchatting…though they were busy, I’m sure no one felt left out or unappreciated. The worst part of all of this? We forgot to take photos of this monster! I guess you’ll just have to make your way to Winamac and see and taste it for yourself! And, be sure to take a few photos! Something other than the black cat photo that I took šŸ˜‰

Definitely was a good recommendation.. We ordered the Special Pork tenderloin sandwich. It was BIG it had lettuce, tomato, and mayo on it. The 1st bite was actually hot and juicy. The breading was crispy and good. You can pick from several sides. I chose tater tots, which were crispy and hot. The special of the day was roasted chicken with sides. The chicken fell apart as soon as I cut into it. It was juicy, hot, and delicious. We also ordered a kids' chicken meal. He said it was really good. You have he option of sitting in the restaurant or pub side. There is plenty of seating from 1 person to 6 people in the main restaurant. A group of 6 or more people in the back part of the restaurant. p.s. The chocolate chip cookie was hot and delicious... Thank you for lunch, and I will definitely be back again.

The food is pretty good besides I just had one issue. I ordered takeout for noon. I get there at noon and it isn’t ready which I’m a patient person I don’t mind waiting a bit. They had to ā€œremakeā€ my order as I said no corn and they accidentally put corn on it. Fine I don’t mind waiting because I worked in food before. They didn’t remake it at all, they just took most of the corn off. I was left with corn hidden through the Jack’s Chicken Bowl and the taste of corn on the mashed potatoes. There was corn under the foil the food was on and corn liquid also. It bothers me, I just didn’t want corn because I’m pregnant and corn is a food aversion and the taste of corn makes me nauseous. Even without my reasoning I would of liked to not have to smell/taste corn with my food when I asked for none
