This place is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It felt like stepping into someone's abuela's (grandmother's) kitchen, with the delicious aroma of fresh ingredients filling the air.

Now, let's talk about the food! The star of the show for me was the chicken gordita. The perfectly seasoned chicken filling was bursting with flavor, and the pillowy gordita itself was the ideal balance of soft and crispy. It was clear everything was made fresh in-house, and the quality shone through.

Of course, I couldn't stop at just one dish. I also had to try the authentic tacos. They offered a variety of fillings, and I went for the carne asada (steak) and al pastor (marinated pork). Both were incredible - the meat was cooked to perfection, with a delicious char and a symphony of savory spices. The tortillas were fresh and held everything together perfectly.

Okay, so my husband and I moved here from Los Angeles, where you find authentic Mexican food especially taco trucks just about everywhere, so we are used to eating delicious, authentic tacos. When we moved to Vegas it was hard to find a place that served good Mexican tacos. We have been to many places and the tacos were “okay” but we found Abuelas Tacos. Let me just say that when I took my very first bite of my asada taco, I was like WOW, paused, looked at my husband, and we both stared at eachother for a few seconds in awe of the deliciousness! It honestly tasted like the tacos you get when you’re in Mexico. The hand made tortilla, the salsa, it just wowed both me and my husband. We loved the food so much we have been going every Tuesday! And their hot Cheetos taco is AMAZING. Abuelas Tacos is definitely our new favorite to go place when we’re craving authentic Mexican tacos!! We have yet to try their other dishes, but I am sure their food will be just as amazing! Definitely recommend this place, you will come...

I work at Clark County Water Reclamation District and decided to come here for Luch with my co-workers for the very FIRST time. I ordered Carne Asada Nachos add Diced Shrimp, when I received my order, it was completely WRONG!!! There was a little bit of shrimp, no carne asada and way too many nachos tbh. The order came out to $15 and some change. When I asked her where the carne asada was she tried telling me that I said shrimp nachos, to add carne asada it would be an extra $4. She tried arguing with me about it and her supervisor said to add it at no charge, she seemed bitter about it but she did add it. Overall they are stingy with the meat but then I saw then carry in bags of meats at the time of my visit. I will not be coming here again nor will I be recommending ANYONE! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE...
