Visited here after not being in Dimondale for a couple years. It was nice to see a little bar pop up here in that time especially since the other bar in town is closed on Sundays. Nice, small sized building and a pleasant atmosphere. Cashier was nice and welcoming and it was a bonus that they had the MSU basketball game on the tv sized just right to be able to see it anywhere in the space. The little dessert bars they had at the counter were great. I did not order food but my buddy did - wait time was short and it looked/smelled good. Menu is pretty limited with grilled cheese being the feature - all customizable but can get a little pricey. What is very nice is that they allow you to bring in food from elsewere. What I absolutely disliked about this business was when I ordered a drink and confirmed that I would open a tab the gentleman wanted to keep my card. I can see this being a necessity in a college town at night to help limit walk-outs. When this happens in a small town bar where it more than likely doesn't get crowded enough for the server to have trouble to keep an eye on everyone this shouts to me "welcome, what can I get for you, I already don't trust you so I need to hold on to your card....but please, trust US enough to know that we're safely handling your food and following proper protocols in the brewing of the beer you're about to consume." This may certainly be just a personal issue but I find it very insulting and this simple act will prevent me from coming here again as I don't want to pay after each drink. That was my only negative, all else was pretty good...

Stopped in for a glass of delicious moscato wine and had the opportunity to try out, “ Fire and Rice” food truck. Both were amazing! There was a bonus to our visit tonight—Chad, Michelle and their 1 1/2 week old baby daughter were there. What a beautiful family they are. Chad’s dad, Steve was there as well! Nothing beats a brew house with a family atmosphere! If you want to enjoy an awesome drink with friendly owners, staff and customers—-stop in and experience Dimes for yourself. Hint: you do need to approach the bar to order your drinks, this gives you an opportunity to meet their friendly staff. Erin rocked...

I came here last night & was so excited since this place had 4.8 stars on Google reviews. I am unsure why. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap & the chicken was the grossest chicken I’ve ever had. It tasted like rubber, I’m not sure it was even chicken honestly. I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog! Also the fact that it was $14 was absurd! We sat outside & they put our drinks in plastic cups which was odd as well. Definitely would never come back to this brewery. Also got a lot of weird looks from the locals & a family was upset we were sitting in the only shaded spot outside which I guess wasn’t okay...

Dimes is the place man I tell ya. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out this staff was so friendly as if they knew me. They recommend the popular items since it was my first time head and if you want a great sandwich and some kickass beer you need to come here. The Tuscan turkey was packed full of flavor and the pastrami Rueben was so crispy and delicious. Even gave me a few samples so I can find the right beer for me. Trust me on this one you’ll love this little place

Stopped in one afternoon after work to get a brew and something to eat. This was my first time here but heard great things. I tried the Tuscan turkey sandwich and a flight because I couldn't make um my mind. It's rare that I go somewhere and find a beer in a flight that I love. I can't remember the name but the periodic table name was EQ I believe. I can't wait to go back staff was friendly and really helpful in making my decision. Thanks for a great experience
