We ordered an icecream cake for our daughters 7th birthday. Pick up time was 2:00, I got there close to 2:30 and our cake was not ready, they explained the cake person called in and they were working on getting caught up because they had to figure out how to use the decorating tools. They quickly got to work on it and had it done in 10 minutes and apologized many times for the wait. The cake was delicious and the customer service was wonderful, even with the wait. Was my experience perfect, no not by definition but what was perfect was the opportunity to show kindness in a situation where not everyone would. This is the new norm, unexpected delays slower than normal service due to the nationwide staffing issues, unexpected illness and mishaps. We are all in this together and doing the best we can, especially small business. I was show this tonight with my experience and watching how hard the assumed owners were working to get things done and make things right for their customers because they truly value their business...
Read moreI stopped by to get a scoop of Jamoca Almond Fudge in a waffle bowl. There was one lady in front of me being helped by one of the servers. The customer was asked by another server (who had pink braids and extremely rude) if she was being helped. The lady said yes. The server with pink braids and rude attitude didn't ask me if I needed help, she just walked away. I received my ice cream and I'm sitting in my car eating and realized this is not what I ordered. I walked back in to hear the server with two pink braids using foul language with the other server. There were customers sitting inside eating their ice-cream. What a very bad reflection on this establishment. I have been coming here since the 1970s. I let the server know this is not the correct ice-cream and she was nice about giving me a replacement(which is why I gave a two stars) It is vital that businesses make sure their employees are polite and appropriate in the business setting. Read moreI went to this location last night to pick up ice cream. The product was great but the service was awful. When I entered the establishment I noticed two girls behind the counter. One was running around making an order for another lady who was waiting. The other girl was cleaning out the coolers with a vacuum. When she saw me she just kept right on vacuuming. I walked up to the counter and waited around 5 minutes to place my order. When she finally stopped, she looked right at me and said in an oh so charming tone, "Do you know what you want?" Excuse me? I believe you meant, "Thank you for patience. How may I help you?" I know the fast food industry isn't the most ideal place to work right now. I don't expect anyone to be over the top cheerful, but I do expect a modicum of politeness. My partner and I both agreed that this will be the last time we visit this loaction.
