Macks Ice Cream and Restaurant by the Good's — Restaurant in Windsor Township

We chose to come here to support a small business, unfortunately our experience wasn’t pleasant. The lady who took our order ( Burnett , heavier set , with blue shirt on) was very rude. Not only was she rolling her eyes and practically sucking her teeth at the older couple in front of us that placed an order , but when I placed mine she gave me the wrong order . Then when I questioned her about it she loudly stated that I didn’t order what I had said I did. She stated this 3 times arguing with me then she rudely took it back and added the rest of the order. She was looking at me like she wanted to yell at me the whole time 🙄. Extremely unprofessional not sure how she has a job here with how rude she is to customers. I took one bite and threw the rest away. Not only was it unappetizing and messy the way she made it but I didn’t want to consume something made by someone with such bad energy 😞. Stopped in last night for a "first time" trip. We were not even greeted by the teens behind the counter. My husband told the kid that this was our first time. The kid said "Oh." So we then proceeded to try to read the menu, thinking we can try a burger maybe. So Jr. Personality behind the counter asks..."Food or ice cream." Just like that! I said food. Jr replied..."Oh cuz our grill is closing so..." Mind you the sign on the door said they close at 9...it was 8:07pm... I looked at the clock in confusion...and then back to Jr Personality...he said..."grill closes at 815...so..." So....my husband and I turned around and walked out. We waited a year to try this place and left hungry. Due to the fact that you need your grill shut down at 815...45 minutes early. Whether it really IS shut down then or you've got some lazy kids with zero customer service skills running your establishment. Either...

We checked on line to find out what time Mack’s closes. It said 9pm. We would rather support local businesses. So we passed up Rita’s to go get ice cream at Mack’s.

Here’s our greeting as we arrive at 8:10pm: ummm we close at 8.ummm. What were you getting. We said ice cream. Her response: No one wants a milk shake, do they? My husband did. Then she mumbled something about having to clean the ice cream scoops again. I said your website said you close at 9pm.cashiers response: Oh that’s our summer hours. You should always check the signs in the window. The signs are blocked by stands for flowers. She also told me I can call.
