I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered in the app for the first time and it sent my order to Winston, OR instead of Sweet Home, OR. I quickly realized the error and called Winston to ask them to cancel my order. I was greeted with a "Hello" as if this were someone's personal phone and not a business, but I moved forward and explained what happened. The person on the other end (Mateya or something) told me that I could cancel in the app. We ended the call, and I found no way to cancel in the app. I called back. She answered again having a side conversation about a Wonder Woman blizzard and then hung up on me. I had to call back 7 times to get her to pick up the phone again, only to have her tell me with a less than stellar attitude, that they don't have control over the app and that I would have to call corporate for a resolution. So I did as she told me to. Corporate had much better customer service, and they were more than happy to send a report to the store owner about the employees behavior. However, they aren't able to cancel the order or refund me because the stores are independently owned (as I had already suspected). So I called the store again, and I was told again that a refund couldn't be issued. I asked for a manager or the owner, and the little girl told me she was a high up as it goes. She finally admitted she just doesn't know how to issue a refund (insane that she's "as high up as it goes" and doesn't know how to issue a refund). I asked how to contact the manager and she said "Call back when she's in" which apparently is tomorrow morning. I guess we'll see if they make it right. I understand that these are children working, but at least teach them customer service skills. You could be completely incompetent at your job, and as long as you're honest and kind I will be understanding. Unfortunately this young girl was none...
Read moreLast night about 8:15 pm we were heading home and stopped here. Worst mistake ever. There was a line, no big deal, times now have made drive through lines longer which is something I expect and actually don't mind. We got up to the order screen and waited for 5 minutes before a woman stated she would take our order when ready. I started with the first item which I got a reply in such a rude manner, 'would you like anything else?', I continued, after each item, I got, again in a rude manner, 'is that it?' After the last item ordered this lady added 'as you can see we are screaming busy and there will be a wait', this woman was crass, short and overall made me feel that the service business was not for her. When we got to the window we were handed our food, which was missing 3 beverages, 2 fries, 2 applesauce, a sundae and our dilly bars. We had to continue to repeat what was missing each time the second gal came back. Then, while we were waiting for our food. We witnessed the order taking woman answer the door, and without gloves hand another customer (whose items were also missing), an order of kid fries not placed in a second bag. In addition to rude interactions we got, we got to then listen to her complain about the chaos to her manager, who sped through the parking lot mind you to get there. I have grown to hate this particular dairy Queen over the past two years. Daughters absolutely love getting their big me to stop all the time. I avoid it at all costs. But again tonight I could not avoid it. I have accepted all meal no matter how simple or small will take 20+ minutes. Tonight I suppose I should blame myself for not checking the bag before leaving the Drive-Thru but again no sauce of any kind for the multiple chicken strip baskets. Not even ketchup for the fries. And sauces and ketchup were requested! 😡 I gave this Dairy Queen second chance tonight and not only do they no longer have Texas toast for their toast in their chicken strip baskets they also didn't give me my gravy I requested. $25 for dinner and I can't get what I ordered? My 100% will never order food outside of a ice cream cone from this place. There's a reason why they've had to increase all their prices on their menu because nobody wants to go there anymore. Every other restaurant in town seems to have good business going and this one's parking lot always...
