I’ve been to Willee’s twice now and definitely will not be returning. The first time was a few months ago. The waitress took our order and we waited and waited and waited... they were busy so we were being patient. Well 45 minutes passed so we flagged down our waitress and asked how much longer it would be... she apologized and informed us that she forgot to even PLACE our order with the kitchen. So we then waited an additional 20 minutes before even receiving our food. Today, I place a to-go order and when I got there, it wasn’t ready, so I decided to have a beer while I waited. I asked the waitress what kind of beer they had and she answered shortly with “oh, lots.” Okay, well that doesn’t help me when I am an avid craft beer enthusiast. Beer is not “just beer” to me. She walked away from me and then came back and I said, “okay well I want an IPA...” she doesn’t say anything, walks away and then comes back with an already opened bottle of Apocalypse IPA, sets it down in front of me and walks away again. This irritated me because 1. She didn’t even ASK if that was okay nor did she even answer my question of what kind of beer they had in the first place. And Apocalypse might be fine for someone new to IPA beers, but it’s trash in my opinion. And secondly, she didn’t even check my ID and I am freshly 24 as of last month. I thought oh whatever who cares I’ll just suck it up and drink it. Paid for my meal and beer... $17 and left. I get to my location and open it and there is NO utensils, NO napkins, and NO ham that I specifically paid EXTRA to be put into my veggie omelet. It’s ridiculous that I paid $17 for food that wasn’t even how I wanted it and a beer that I truly didn’t want....
Read moreSo, I’m giving this place a three stars because the menu is kind of stupid. I came here a little before 1pm and the restaurant was pretty packed. If you’re getting food you seat yourself and then a sever will bring you a menu and such. The menu is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. They take no substitution to anything and if you are an adult you’re not allowed to order anything off the kids menu. I’ve never seen a restaurant decline to make what I ordered. I always order off the kids menu because I simply can’t eat a lot of food and I hadn’t seen the sign on the menu. They told me I wasn’t allowed to have it because of my age and that I had to pick something else. The service was fine and the food was good for the price just was a little ridiculous to have something on your menu and refuse to serve it because I’m too old. The experience would have been 5 star if the whole menu ordeal didn’t leave a sour taste...
Read moreWe have lived here for a few years and have visited this place quite a few times for breakfast. I don’t knowing they got new owners or if because of covid they are hurting financially. They are now charging 2.00 for an extra plate, really?!! Then we visited here today and I asked to order from the kids menu as I am not a big eater. I was told no the owner is not allowing it, even though what I wanted to order off the kids menu menu was the same price as the adult menu. So they were not loosing any money. The waitress was snippy and rude! And the Denver omelette my husband ordered was terrible. We will not be back! Owner, you need to change some things and think about your customers because...
