Pita-Pie Cafe — Restaurant in Winter Haven

I had such a great experience at Pita-Pie Cafe! The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The place was really clean and had a nice vibe to it.

I ordered the Buffalo Blaze pita pie and it was so flavorful; it definitely hit the spot. I also tried the Cheesy Delight, and it was delicious with this subtle minty flavor that was a nice little surprise. I had it with their mint tea, just added some honey, and it was perfect.

And seriously, the baklava? To die for. Easily one of the best I’ve had and the perfect way to end the meal.

My coworker and I ran into Al the owner while in a meeting with one of our clients and decided to stop here on our lunch break. The pitas were delicious, fresh, filling, and not heavy. I am allergic to nuts, but according to my coworker, the baklava was extremely delicious as well. I believe her name was Heather at the register and she was incredibly friendly. 10 stars on a 5 star scale. The owner went over the entire menu with me, which had something that would cover everyone's taste. A genuinely nice man and you could tell he really cared and had pride in his food. For sure large portions for the price. We had the pita hot dog, chicken fajita, cheesy delight, Philly cheesesteak and baklava.
