Out-n-About Bar and Music Lounge — Restaurant in Dundee

Unless you are ordering take-out, this is not a place to come, sit down and enjoy a meal out in a bar atmosphere. My first bad experience was four of us went out there for Taco Tuesday. There were under 10 people in the bar when we got there and that included us. We placed our orders and it took over 50 minutes for us to get our order and we all only ordered just two tacos each. Fifty minutes to make 8 tacos. The next time nine of us went there as a group for Friday Fish Fry. Everyone placed their orders and got theirs except me. I asked the staff when I could expect mine and I was told very soon. Forty five minutes later when everyone was done eating and ready to leave, my food had still not come out and I could not get an explanation as to why or when it would be out. So I left and had to go elsewhere for supper. Tonight, 3-28-23, four of us went there for Taco Tuesday. We arrived at 5:30 pm. We got our drinks right away, by 5:35 pm. The owner, who was our wait staff, didn’t come back until 6:15 and said she would be back to take our food order in 10 minutes. She didn't come back until 7:00 pm. By that time my wife and I decided to leave and eat elsewhere. When I told her we are not ordering because it took her 85 minutes to take our food order, her attitude was like, "WHATEVER". We did not get an apology, an explanation of the kitchen being backed up, short staffed, a comment to please stay and let us make it up to you……NOTHING.

My community used to flood this place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays because we enjoyed the music, atmosphere and the staff was extra friendly, especially to those of us who were regulars. At least 40 of us were there once a week or more. But because of service like I stated above from past staff and the current staff has happened to too many of us, almost all have been going elsewhere. I guess you can add us...

Paid for 2 beers on cash app from my phone and tipped in cash…. Total was 7.49 well the next morning I got a text from cash app stating that my new total after the 10.00 tip was added on the night before was 17.49… well I knew I had not given a 10.00 tip for drinks that were 7.49 total so I called and they said they would look into it… they called back and said that either the manager or the actual bartender had done it so they would give it back when I went in again, really, I may not go back in…. But just make sure you pay with cash, because this is not the first time this has happened to me and my family and friends...

This place has the most delicious food in the area, not only do they have a great atmosphere to enjoy with music, but the food is flawless. The service is exceptional. Tracy and Paul, who I got to meet today as they both ask me and my family how was the food when it got brought to us. I couldn’t help but be feel genuinely impressed with there service.
